Description

We are a new campground opening May 1, 2023 weather permitting. R V There Yet Campground offers spacious primitive sites at very reasonable prices. Although we do not currently have water or electric hookups, we do have well water available to fill tanks and a dump station. Because we do not offer shower facilities, state law only allows us to host RVs that are equipped with shower facilities on board. We are also not allowed to host tent sites for this reason. We currently have 18 beautiful sites available. Each site is approximately 10,000 square feet in size and are spaced approximately 150 feet apart with some trees between for a bit of privacy. All sites are pull-through and come with a picnic table, fire ring, and free fire wood.

Nice start... Very spacious

While I did not actually stay, I drove through for future reference. It looks very private and lots of tree cover (maybe a tree farm?) All pine. Each sie has tons of space and lots of trees between sites. No looking into your neighbors site. Plenty of space for hammocks! Each side has a plentiful pile of pine to burn. Nice addition and offering!

Appeared to have a dump station and port o lets scattered all over for ease of access.

I should mention (and maybe this will be improved in the future) the road was very bumpy. This time of year it is fairly frozen, but could be messy in wet weather. Class 5 or gravel would be an awesome addition. The current road is primitive and might be difficult with RVs.

I would absolutely consider this for the price if I needed something in this area.

Month of VisitOctober

I encourage anyone to drive through the property and look around. We bought the property, which was a Norway pine plantation, from Potlatch three years ago and have been doing the vast majority of the work ourselves. It is my retirement investment and hopefully it will be my legacy to my children when I pass on. We just opened up this spring with four sites (the ones on the north side of the property) as a soft opening and to get a feel of how things will go once we open more sites without it getting too crazy. I also try to meet with each guest personally when they arrive and encourage feedback because, as this is a work in progress, we can make adjustments as we go. By the end of next year we hope to have 18 sites available. Much of that work is already completed in the older growth area deeper into the property. We also need to simply get our name out there. State minimum requirements is 2,000 square feet and our sites are about 10,000 square feet with half open and sunny and the other half shaded for hammocks and picnic area. Free firewood is included and each site comes equipped with a fire ring and a picnic table. We also have a household garbage disposal site for guests to use. Although the sites are all currently primitive, we do have water available to fill tanks and a dump station, both of which are free to use by our guests. Future development will include class V on the roads, water and electric to some of the sites, a dog park area for those who bring their pets camping with them, and a permanent shower/restroom facility to name just a few. These things will be implemented as time and finances allow because, as I stated, we are doing most all the work ourselves and we need to generate revenue so that we can reinvest in the property. By the time the property is fully developed, we should have room for about 100 sites on the 80-acre parcel. Thank you for your review and I hope we can see you as a guest in the future.
