Dorthy (the owner) is a very very nice lady. They live on site and are helpful and friendly. It’s a no frills campground. Mostly full timers and factory turn around workers staying long term. It’s a very small town so it’s quiet. It’s in a safe area too. They have a massive field in the back good for picnics or walks. There is a store at the end of the road that sell basics and has a full kitchen attached. Gas stations and bar right up the road too. Close to New Orleans and has a Walmart in the neighboring town of Luling. I’d stay again long term or short term if I was passing by.
