Set back almost a mile from the main road on its own private drive, Lago Linda Hideaway provides security and privacy for its campers in a gorgeous setting. The 35 Piney Woods and Lazy Oaks campsites (which can be reserved in advance) lie on ridge tops among groves of oak trees, allowing campers to spread out and enjoy as much privacy as they wish. All of these campsites are graveled and have electrical hookups.

 Each site has its own city water, picnic table, and fire ring. In addition, a large, grassy meadow provides ample overflow camping for tent and car campers, including a big, covered, cooking pavilion with electricity along with another covered area that provides additional shelter for a number of tents.

 Lago Linda Hideaway has a bathhouse with hot showers and flush toilets, as well as Broadband Internet access. Well-behaved children and dogs are welcome to this accommodating environment.

Callie’s Lake and Campground

Turkey Foot Campground, located on London Ranger District, is nestled along the banks of War Fork Creek in Jackson County. The road into the campground is fairly steep and may be unsuitable for vehicles towing large trailers. The creek is stocked with trout throughout the year. A playfield with a horseshoe pit is located t the end of camping sites alongside the creek. All of the campsites are wooded. Make this page look nicer by submitting photos of your visit to Turkey Foot Campground. Learn more... Each site is equipped with picnic table, fire ring, tent pad, and lantern pole. There is no water, electric or dump station available in the campground. All of the sites are within easy walking distance of the creek. Turkey Foot Campground Map Use caution at the low water ford across the creek at the campground entrance. Do not cross if flooded. Low lying areas are prone to flooding, so be alert for flooding when driving, camping or crossing streams in this area. Campfires are permitted in fire rings only. Natural Bridge Campground

Make the most of your trip to the Natural Bridge Campground in Kentucky with Natural Bridge cabin rentals or delight in the mountainside beauty of Hemlock Lodge, one of 17 state park lodges in Kentucky. The 35 rooms of Hemlock Lodge have private balconies. Open year-round. Rooms are available by late afternoon. Lodge room check-out by 11:00am, local time. We are now pet friendly. No more than two pets are allowed per room/cottage. 

Enjoy the great outdoors in a park campsite. Two campgrounds, Whittleton Campground and Middle Fork Campground, provide 87 sites with utilities. Tent campsites are also available. Dump stations and two central service buildings with restrooms and showers are furnished for your convenience.

Natural Bridge State Resort Park

This campground is a climbers' paradise. It is 7 miles south of Red River Gorge, an area that offers over 3,500 bolted rock climbing routes. If you're interested in continuing your climbing escapade, you can also visit Pendergrass-Murry Recreational and Preserve Muir Valley, two more outstanding climbing destinations.  While visiting Land of The Arches, you'll have the opportunity to visit nearby Daniel Boone National Park and Natural Bridge State Park for hiking, fishing and wildlife watching. 

The campground has 99 sites with up to 51 guests per site. It is a large piece of land and is great for boy scouts. There is also a "hangar" which has a foosball table, ping pong, air hockey and free wifi.

Of the six parks in the Bluegrass State, Mammoth Cave is the only true national park. This area of southwestern Kentucky holds the best outdoor activities to be found in the state.

There are a large number of campsites across a few campgrounds, and Mammoth Cave Campground holds most of them. Both Mammoth Cave and Maple Springs Campgrounds are accessible for RVs. Backcountry camping is also available for interested hikers. The caves are, of course, the big draw, and no matter where you stay, you should take a cave tour. Since there are no nearby forests or BLM land, the best camping near Mammoth Cave National Park is fairly far away at the Green River Lake Wildlife Management Area. If you can’t get a spot in the park, staying in nearby Park City or Brownsville, KY, is the best choice.
