ScoutClean facilities and super friendly staff, I’m looking at you sierra! Stay one night after being off grid for days. Did some cleaning and laundry $2.50 a load. Amazing views from our spot.
TravelerI’d give 4.5 stars if possible. Great location to break up the trip between Boise and Lewiston.
Lots of fun stuff to do: good swimming beach with the ability to check out canoes and kayaks (life jackets available for loan was a big deal since our 7&9 year olds forgot to pack theirs), sand volleyball, big bonfire ring near the beach, benches and picnic tables along the water access, lots of access to fishing within walking distance. Big rocks along the water that our daughter really enjoyed scrambling along, and we laid across them to watch the meteor shower.
Sites are big and easy to park our 36’ camper, easy check in, cute little store with firewood for sale. Staff were courteous and helpful.
Bathroom was clean, we didn’t use the shower.
The only thing I could complain about is that our picnic table was not in the best shape, but we swapped out for our neighbor’s since the site showed as available for the only night we were going to stay.
LegendThis campsite is located east of Cascade Lake and Donnelly, Idaho. It's a scenic road to get there. The camsite we were in was dry camping with no hook-ups. The camping pad for our 27' Travel Trailer was nice and level. Each campsite had a picnic table and a firepit. There are some nice hiking trails in the vicinity. Mountain biking and horse riding is acceptable there as well. Since we had kayaks, we had a short drive to the boat ramp. There is excellent trout fishing. There is a small swim beach near the Warm Lake Lodge and Restaurant, near where the cabins are. All in all, a great stay, away from the city :-) It's a nice peaceful setting.

GuideThe owner was very nice and accommodating to our short notice request for a tent spot. Seems it’s a family owned business and all of them were kind. The bathrooms and showers are very spacious and clean! There is a little fire pit sitting area with free wood to use and 2 bbq grills also free to use. There is a little dog run if you have pets. I think the only complaint would be noise from the highway. The tent spots are closest to the noise, but if you have an RV it may be no issue!

The water is crystal clear and fishing is popular. There is a trail that goes completely around the lake but we turned back when a snake crossed our path.

The forest fires were further into the forest but the smoke haze was ever present.
GuideWe booked this location last minute, as a last stop on a long road trip. The tent sites are shaded, and even the parking is on grass. The restrooms and showers were clean. In the office building there is a game room with a table and a microwave that we used to heat up some tasty leftovers.
