Great campground

Campground staff very nice campsites are great concrete slab with table. Some campsites are tricky to get into we have a 34 foot fifth wheel. Could use a little more shade

Huge Open Field With Miles of Trails

Just hit this equestrian campground for a single night and I had the place to myself.

There was a single cameraman from a local news affiliate shooting video of deer in the field at sunset.

And a group of ladies on horseback went for a sunset trail ride, but after dark it was all mine.

Amazing!!

This place is amazing. I wanted to take my kids camping with only a tent. I called the day before and made reservations for the next day. The check-in lady was so nice. Place is very clean and every one is so friendly. We loved it and we definitely will be coming back.

Small, unlevel sites

We normally love camping in state parks but this is one that we will not be back to. Our site was extremely unlevel and a mixture of sand, big gravel and tree roots. We were barely able to navigate around the pine tree that was in the site. Bath houses were OK. The historic area of the park was…

Nice Campground

The campground was well maintained, showers were clean with plenty of hot water. We camped at site 87 and it was next to a busy road. It felt private and isolated however, there was a constant flow of traffic on the other side of the brush. Ensure you bring lots of mosquito repellents of all sorts,…

Very nice campground

Great campground! I enjoyed the walking trail and my kids enjoyed the playground. Very nice amenities with very nice bathroom facilities with showers. Campsite also had water and electricity. I took away a star due to the small size and because the tent campsites were too close to each other. There…

We are spoiled by other Fl state parks

We stayed at Koreshan in site 38 for one night. It is definitely not as nice as other FL state parks we’ve been spoiled by... Sites are ok, a little smaller than we’ve had at other campgrounds and there’s some vegetation between sites. The trails aren’t very exciting at the park, although we did…

Privacy and sandy trails

We stayed in a campervan and upon arrival saw 4 campsites packed together a d the entire field was open which had many other campsites. We drove into camp site 20 instead of our reserved site 2. There was no body working there so I guess switching campsites was okay. I did call and let them know o.…

Awesome private farm where you feel like your in your own oasis.

Paved road until you get to gate and then you enter a 17 acre farm of tropical fruit trees and plants. Awesome stocked pond for great fishing. Catch and release. Plenty of room to spread our. Was great to get away from life and enjoy the amazing sunsets

Lovely Quaint Place

We were running close to the cut off for check in due to traffic. We called and the clerk waited for us to get there. We made it just under the wire. The sites were close together and a bit tight, but they are nice gravel for the rig and a concrete pad for your rug. Each site has a grill and picnic…

Small but peaceful State Park with Historic attraction

Kind and helpful staff! We got a late check-in and no issues. Spot was clean, quiet, with lush vegetation on all sides! There are Historic buildings with interesting background and guided tours. Nature trails, kayaking, etc. Will be back here.

Tenters: Stick to spots 1 -16

Arrived here for a three-night tent stay in early December. The staff was very friendly. The comfort rooms spotless and modern. New-looking washer and dryer. The RV spots are very close together. I got spot #79, on the North side, conveniently close to the restroom but also close to San Marco Rd…
