Lighthouse Cove RV Park

Stayed here a few days while working a job in Crescent City. It was quiet and we had a nice view of the bay / marina. The facilities were clean. A few places close enough to walk to for dinner. I recommend taking a tour of their lighthouse.

Lovely spot right on the beach with good walking access to town. Bathrooms are clean, showers were good and had hot water. Laundry is small but price is right. Overall I was delighted. Nothing fancy for sure but it was a great place to stay and shelter from a storm.

Large tv park with amenities for power, water, etc. bathrooms are kinda limited, few showers in men’s and ladies room, but if you have large tv showers may not be issue. Showers were clean and had nice pressure and hot water was plentiful. Our spot is 15, backs up to Pacific Ocean, which is beautiful. A bit windy here next to ocean. We’ve come to realize we prefer the state or Fed parks over rv campgrounds, but all said and done this place is pretty nice if you like the ocean and sand.

We picked this place because it's right next to the water and at the edge of town within easy driving access to the redwoods. Location-wise, it was great. But the site is also near a lighthouse jetty that produces a tone every 7 seconds or so, non-stop. At times we were able to ignore it, but it was certainly harder to ignore at other times, sometimes keeping us awake if we heard it in the middle of the night. Cell service and Wi-Fi were good, which is what kept us here for the week, since we were working remotely. Laundry machines and showers on site were ok.

Booked same day and about 4 hours before we arrived. We got lucky and got a premium ocean spot. We only stayed one night. Showers and bathrooms were okay— but we usually use our own bathroom/ shower. There is a noise from the light house all day every few minutes but it’s not unbearable. I’m a heavy sleeper and the tv drowned it out. Dog friendly, but people definitely a lot more lax on cleaning up after their dogs (had do dodge poop on the beach and around our spot. Great price for the view. Easy booking and check in process. Didn’t interact with any staff since we checked in after hours (5:30pm) and left at 8am.

Level full hook-up sites in large grass field. Each site has approximate 10x10 concrete pad for chairs, BBQ, etc. Nice Views over water. Easy walk to adjacent large city park with city pool, sea mammal rescue center, light-house, etc. Clean restrooms with hot shower and acceptable water pressure. Easy access right off 101. Booked online after arrival because office was closed. About four homeless people observed nearby... did not have any problems. Did not notice traffic noise at night. Would stay again.

We had never been to the ocean and had so much fun having our camper parked directly off the beach. It was so clean and beautiful. Planning on visiting again!

It was a pretty standard RV park next to the beach. Had some cool views that are a very short walk. The only issue we had was a tweeker across the bay was screaming at the top of her lungs for about 20min, other than that pretty standard RV park fair.

If you got kids, and just need a spot to stop it's not bad. Kids can run on the beach without too much trouble. It's a bit expensive for what it is.

My family had a blast camping here! Full rv hook ups, clean bathrooms and showers, and gorgeous views of the bay and Battery Point Lighthouse. Within walking distance to Ocean World and the Apple Peddler. Longer walk but a nice walk or bike ride to beach front park. All of the campsites have concrete slabs but not all sites have picnic tables and you have to bring your own fire pit.

Cool beach and lighthouse, but no gates or fencing to keep vagrants out, you can see them out front, no fence or gate to keep them out, so our locked e-bikes were stolen, both of them. The next day other guests got 2 more e-bikes stolen too! 4 bikes in two days! No security at night, no gate, or fence. Won't go back to CA, it seemed to be a problem all over CA. Other campgrounds in other towns reported e-bikes stolen.

Wow how best to articulate what we feel about this campground We arrived today February 25th escaping The snow in Southern California. And let me tell you this is hands down the best campground I've ever been to it is unbelievably friendly staff large sites gorgeous views accessible to the Redwoods right on the ocean right near the lighthouse you can see the sun setting every night. 420 friendly. Walkable to great restaurants shopping nearby everything you're looking for dispensary across the street. Also not far from trees of mystery. Also your dogs are allowed to run on the beach

Nothing fancy but the Campground took care of us just fine! We were happy to find a last minute place to stay on the water of the Crescent Harbor. Hot showers & cheaper laundry fees were a great bonus:)

Not fancy, but a great place to stay while checking out the beautiful scenery in and around Crescent City. Walking distance to lighthouse, downtown and restaurants and seafood markets at Crescent City harbor.

This review is more for the tent camping on the beach. I loved it to say the least. If you need electric and water it’s not for you but if you want to sleep on the beach and wake up to the sun over the ocean this is for you! Camping for me is adventurous and a little uncomfortable...don’t get me wrong I like to glamp but this is where it’s at!
