    Colorado River Oasis RV Park

    Very well kept and pretty

Super nice RV resort in Bullhead city, I was blown away to find this little gem in this area. It's so well kept and plenty of room for the big rigs, Full hook-ups at every site(w/s/e) 20/30/50 amp, I noticed Concrete patios at most sites, oh, and did I mention they have FREE Wi-Fi throughout the park! Also FREE Cable TV! Very wide sites, with plenty of room for your slide-outs. I was impressed by how clean this park is and the level gravel throughout the park and RV sites. Everyone has access to their dope sandy beach and its free use for any guest to launch their boat. This place is pretty and filled with tropical landscaping. Another bonus is they offer a year-round swimming pool and hot tub and a clubhouse with kitchen facilities & TV, a fitness room, spotless restrooms& showers and I did notice laundry facilities. They do have Group rates as well just inquire with them.

They do have other little cabins or rooms to rent and some that overlook the water. super impressed by this entire place.

    Everything one could need

Cool Little Spot !! Talk about clean! This place has exceeded that by all means. The bathroom was immaculate as can be. With kids if the bathroom isn’t clean our babies are not going in. Super dope place right on the river with little sandy beaches on the river and a cool water inlet that is surrounded by grass for a fun family day. This entire place has hook ups and group areas available. They do have cabin rentals as well. Grocery store Golf across the street Tennis courts

Here are my star ratings based on my lifestyle and what I like. I'm also a mother, dog mama, and a wife so it's not just me it's my crew and i. 1 star- AUTOMATIC relocate... the property is no longer there, trashed or/and I could never have my children there and I wouldn't ever think about staying no matter what OR its not something us campers are on this is more of an airbnb. 2 star- Not really my jam, and would NEVER go to again... It probably more of desert life and not really my style for sure...Being from Vegas I can't stand being in the desert and I love the Trees and the Green more than anything. 3 star- Would stay there again in a pinch, but not really my style, the reason its not is because not enough family things to do, the scenery, or the location... but I would go again and feel safe having my kiddos here but only if I needed to in a pinch. 4 star- a really good rating for sure, maybe needed some improvements, minor things like being on top of each other, not a lot of privacy, but honestly little cosmetic things that aren't anything to sweat and would be back again for sure. 5 star- MY FAVORITE... love the location, safety, the surroundings, big camp spots available to fit toys for my kids to play, hammocks to hang, our big family tent, cases of firewood, our suburban or RV, etcccccc..... I would not only come back but would live if I could!!! Anyway thanks for reading and enjoy every moment like it's your last! CHEERS!

They have the swimming pool open all the time! we rented a cabin and there was no air condition on when we arrived and we turned it on and went swimming at 10:30 at night and by the time we got back to the cabin it was cooled off! nice clean but hot!

desert camping you have to pay for

ok ok ok... this place does offer a lot!!! A clean blue swimming pool, laundry, showers, and bathrooms. each camp spot has pads, bbq grills, and water sources, some also offer a little covered canopy which is needed out here. In case you want to stay in a cabin, they have small cabins available to rent. This place has a variety of games around that can be fun for groups. I gave it a 4 only because it's really nothing special besides the amenities they could for sure have put some nice trees in to make it more shade for guest.

    great amenities

They have their own entrance to the river which is super neat because if you rent jet skis you can get back to your lodging any time of the day. Also if you have a boat you can load and unload it with the private ramp which is a bonus.

They have full hookups, tables, laundry, a pool, and the river. very nice place and well kept.

also on-site, they have vacation rentals right on the river!! so check them out!! super clean and a neat place they have here and I will be back.

It's neat if you take the water taxis across to the casinos and walk the boardwalk, there are so many bugs so be prepared. o posted pictures of us on the boardwalk and the jet ski we rented which is a great spot just down the street from the rv park

    Nice park

The sites are kinda tight but well worth it if you can get a river view! Dog friendly with a nice dog beach. Staff is wonderful and accommodating. Laundry facilities are good. It’s an older park but a great stop. Stock up on your groceries before you get to Needles California as there are no grocery stores, I would also suggest getting your fuel across the river in Arizona as the fuel prices here are beyond outrageous!

    Hotter than hades

We stayed overnight in July and the temperature when we arrived was 113 degrees! As such, we were confined to our trailer. The price was very reasonable, $30.00 per night. Our site backed up to a large grassy area, but the heat had killed most of the grass. The sites are well spaced. The beach area on the Colorado River looked very inviting, but the ambient temperature prevented us from taking advantage of it. I can see this would be a great place in the winter, but not so great in the summer.

Campground is right next to Avi Casino

This KOA is right next to the AVI Casino. Looks like a great place to stay if you don't want to pay casino room prices, but have all the convinces of staying at AVI. Journey is literally right across the street, and you can walk over for many things to do at the AVI resort.

    Good times at AVI KOA

If you’re looking for some peace and quiet you might want to skip this campground, but if you’re looking for some fun and a late night out this is a great spot. The KOA campground is nothing special, very basic, barren wasteland with full hookup sites. The cool thing here is that the AVI casino is directly across the street and is the only thing around for miles, so you’ll most likely be spending your time there like we did. We did not hang out at the river as it looked like total mayhem (fun but chaotic), crowded beach area with boats everywhere, and loud music. The pool area was also crowded but we managed to find a table and lounge chairs and let the kids loose. You can’t bring in your own drinks unlike the beach area but we were able to order a couple of rounds of over priced mediocre cocktails/ beers. After the sun went down all the parents decided drop off all kids at the kids care play center where you can leave your kid in there till 2am, yes that’s right 2am. All of us parents laughed at that but then went out gambling and eating out late and ended up picking our kids up close to 1am. The kids loved it, it was a bit of a lord of the flies situation in the kids center that late at night (just running around wild and crazy) but they were safe and had a blast. After getting back to the camper and putting our zombie kids to sleep we noticed that it’s still a party outside with fireworks going off throughout the night. It wasn’t terrible but fireworks are legal there and people set them off late into the night. Again, if you are looking for a fun night with friends and family check this place out, but if you’re looking for a peaceful place look elsewhere.

Centrally located to lots of things.

Close to the casino, golfing, the Colorado River, Needles, Laughlin and Bullhead City. Has its own launch ramp for water toys. Not much I the way of trees for shade, and mostly dirt.

    Not much going on here...

This area has an unheated pool and a rec area that has a pool table, card table and a couch facing a big TV that's equipped with a VCR and a big library of tapes to go with it. They also have a laundry mat here, a pretty well stocked store and a couple of horseshoe pits. The site itself isn't that great, there's no concrete slabs, it's just a big gravel parking lot with a few separation bushes and plants. But it is a decent location because its walking distance from the Colorado River, (and beside it) is the River Front Cafe. The cafe has more of a bar feel, but it has some nice views as you are eating some pretty good food.

T-mobile has great cell service here, and the water pressure is fantastic. Just don't buy gas here in Needles. It's twice the price of any current gas station. Go to one of the other towns that lay right on the outskirts of Needles town.

    KOA desert life

KOA have pretty much everything you need this location well its nothing fancy for what your paying, you get all the basics, the reason they only get a 4 is that they could have a bit more greenery for the cost you pay. They have a decent clubhouse, well-kept laundry room, a cool little fireplace where you can sit with friends, burn wood, and eat a meal on the tables a really neat group area for a bunch of friends or family that's for sure. They have full hookups, showers, bathrooms, a nice swimming pool, dump station, all spots are very close to your neighbors with no privacy AT ALL! some ran down tables and bbq at each site. we came when it wasn't scorching but this place gets super hot so prepare for that, they do have a store for things you need as well.

    Deluxe campground, sweltering heat

This is my first time staying at a KOA campground. I'm impressed with how many amenities are provided: pool, laundry room, clubhouse, well-appointed bathroom, and a camp store with reasonable prices. My campsite is tidy and of a generous size. There are only a few shrubs for privacy, but the campground is practically empty so this isn't an issue today.

What is an issue today is the heat. As I write this at 10:11 at night, it is 100° F. When I arrived in Needles this afternoon, it was 114° F. The water that comes out of the spigots here is like bathwater. I started my day in L.A., where it was about 70° F. I knew it would be hotter inland, but I didn't expect it to be this bad. I'll be breaking camp at dawn tomorrow and hurrying back into the air conditioned sanctuary of my car. This campground is probably much more pleasant in the winter.

    Snowbirding Rocks

We arrived after park hosting in Oregon for 4 months. Blue sky, sift breeze and 72 degrees greeted us. Carla at the desk is awesome. We had to reschedule our visit due to mechanical issues. She was very helpful. Mountains to the NE of us. They have a pool, cleaned regularly but not heated. I’m too much of a wimp for polar plunges. But my wife Sherri says she’ll go it later.

    Pool looks nice

The pool looks nice but it’s been too cold to check it out. I am not used to the desert so it’s hard for me to like this area. However the sites are flat and gravel and there is a decent laundry room. The bath house is dated but serviceable. For some reason my spot didn’t have a picnic table but it’s too windy to use anyways.

    Second visit

Nice tall Oleander shrubs provide shade and privacy between sites. Generous sized pull through sites. This time we stayed in the back row (in front of the full timers) and it was so quiet. Previously we stayed near the office and could hear some road noise from I-40; much quieter in the back. Each site has a concrete patio. Grateful for Hook-ups as it has been over 100 degrees each time we've stayed and A/C is necessary. Quiet people camp here. Nice pool. Cheap gas, water jug station and RV self wash just across the border.

We’ll maintained with privacy bushes between sites.

We had a great experience here. Our trailer has a view of the landscape of palms and undeveloped land behind the park. All amenities were great! We were greeted by the host and lead to our site. Each site has a concrete pads. Internet was fair. We couldn’t get cable at our site.
