Easy access to popular Mist Trail

We typically choose to stay in traditional camp grounds and haul in our own gear and pitch tents but this time we had permits to hike up Half Dome and chose to stay here due to the location of being able to park, sleep and wake up early to start our day hike.

This is great access to start the…

Lovely Rustic City

aka Curry Village

My daughters and I have now stayed in both the canvas tent/cabin and a hard-sided cabin. Both provide comfortable beds with sheets and a warm blanket on each. (If you like fluffy pillows, bring one from home.)

We stayed in the heated tent/cabin during a major snowfall and…

Fantastic

It was our first time camping in Yosemite and we absolutely loved this campsite. Mirror Lake, and Mist Trail were near by. Restrooms are extremely clean great views all around.

AKA Curry Village

Nice, no frills canvas tenting in Yosemite. Best part is the location, which gives direct access to some of the most popular trails -- Happy Isles to Mist Trail, Mirror lake, etc. It has a nice family friendly vibe. Community/ Shared baths were acceptable, but be prepared to wait for showers during…

Best location, easy camping

This is the best location in Yosemite. Super easy with great views of Yosemite falls and creek to play in. Bathrooms were clean. Spaces have enough room that you aren’t on top of each other. Tents have outlets to plug in a few items. Beds were comfortable enough. Tent could have been cleaner, but…

Great place!

We had a blast here. You’re 25 miles from the park entrance, on a straight path. The sites were a great space and the pool and playground was a lot of fun of the kids. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

It’s Yosemite!

Just amazing. We walked in and got a site on the same day! We only were able to secure two night but after that we book a nice canvas tent at Curry Village to give us some more time to explore Yosemite!

Great tent cabins and facilities

Stayed two nights here in a 2 bed tent cabin. Slept 3 of us perfectly and was somewhat heated. Meaning the heater likes to turn it self off at times cooling the tent back down before kicking back in. The bathroom and showers were great for camping showers. The is a nice lodge style place to hang…

Yosemite

You're staying in Yosemite Valley, one of the most beautiful places in the world. We stayed a couple nights in the tents, and it was fine. They're close together, but it's nice to have a "room" instead of just a tent. The bathrooms and showers were nearby too. Be sure to enjoy the countless miles…

Great spot- far from Yosemite

Not worth the drive- but stayed here because I didn’t plan ahead during COVId and national park restrictions. Nice place- but much warmer than the high elevation of the park. Otherwise in cooler weather this place is well designed and amazing pool

Good Location, Clean, Helpful staff

Sites are not too tight. We had a corner lot which was nice. Campground was clean. Had some noisy neighbors and dogs but they were friendly. Close to Groveland proper and Yosemite Valley. Campground Wi-Fi is third party, cheap ($15/wk), but connectivity was inconsistent, we had to keep…
