Crazy,

The drive out here is no joke, 4x4 is needed, Took us about 2 hours to get out here, and we still didn't find the lake, it was dark and scary and we were questioning it, we eventually just stopped and set up camp and left in the morning, if your just looking to camp sure good spots. Easy to get lost. Lots of roads to get lost on. Just cautious

Dude, this place is crazy. Seriously, prepare yourself for some off-road trekking that will have you questioning yourself and the limits of your vehicle. Best visited by Mojave dune racer drivers in the full set ups, this side trip down a crazy canyon out to a Sandy dune field on cove of lake Powell is well worth the super adventure it takes getting out there. I’ll try to post pictures but woah, the journey only elevates the destination. Camp wherever, go for a swim in the lake but seriously, be cautious when attempting the place. Must have 4x4 and balls
