Sitting just off paved roads in the Cumberland Plateau region of Tennessee, Greeter Falls Campground gives campers direct access to the Greeter Falls trailhead, which sits just past the on-site camp store. The campground is relatively new and continues to develop, with distinct zones that include full-hookup RV sites, primitive tent sites, and yurts. Terrain mixes forested areas with more open ground depending on which section you're in.
The main campus, Area C, has the camp office, a code-locked bathhouse that reviewers consistently describe as clean, and full hookups with 50/30/20 amp service, water, and sewer. RV sites are gravel and require some leveling. Primitive sites have picnic tables and fire rings, though at least one reviewer noted that site boundaries can be hard to read on the ground, and some sites run close to neighbors. A fenced dog park, a small sandbox area for kids, and an activity room with a projector round out the facilities. WiFi is available but signal quality varies by site. Verizon users have reported solid LTE coverage in at least parts of the campground.
The falls themselves are the main draw. Four waterfalls are mapped on the trail loop, and Thomas H. notes that "unfortunately it was pretty dry so there wasn't much waterfall action," a useful reminder that water levels depend on recent rainfall. The loop also passes rock formations and cliff faces worth seeing regardless of flow. Campers planning to swim should aim for late summer after a wet stretch. Reservations are available and recommended for holiday weekends, and those with large RVs should call ahead to confirm site dimensions before booking.
