Cuttys Sunset Camping Resort

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Reservations are available at Cuttys Sunset Camping Resort, a drive-in RV and tent campground outside Louisville, Ohio, open May 1 through October 15 with nightly rates running $42 to $60. Full hookups, including electric, water, and sewer, are standard, and the property also has showers, a dump station, and WiFi. Pets are welcome. The campground draws a mix of overnight visitors and seasonal regulars, which gives it a community feel that several reviewers noted.

Site size is one of the more consistent points of feedback. Spots tend to run small, with picnic tables placed close to neighboring campers, and non-seasonal sites are reported to have little shade. Golf carts are common on the grounds, and evenings can get noisy, particularly on weekends. The pool is shallow, around 3.5 feet, so it works better for younger kids than adults. A small snack area on-site gets a passing mention for decent food.

The campground's location makes it a reasonable base for day trips. Nearby draws include Quail Hollow State Park, the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, and Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Hartville Kitchen and Hartville Hardware, both a short drive away, come up repeatedly in reviews as worth the stop. One reviewer summed up the activity balance: "You can easily spend a week here without feeling bored."

Campers wanting a different setup in the region can look at Whispering Pines Campground to the northeast, or browse campgrounds around Hartville for additional comparisons.

Many campers appreciated the friendly staff and excellent family activities with lots for kids to do. However, recurring comments addressed very small, crowded sites with minimal privacy between campers.

Old-Fashioned Family Camping :)

Cutty’s is good old fashioned family at its best! They’ve been in the business for years and it shows! From catch and release fishing to laundry facilities, the staff at Cutty’s has thought of everything.

Nearby attractions are: The Hartville Kitchen (seriously worth it), Hartville hardware (again, worth it - believe me), Quail Hollow State Park, Football Hall of Fame, McKinley Museum, and Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

As far as the camping, you can expect a lot of golf carts, big campers, and a bit of evening noise. Big it’s really okay. Everyone is pretty friendly and there’s actually a real sense of “community” owing to the seasonal campers.

You can easily spend a week here without feeling bored - especially if you’re with the family :)

Quick tip: The welcome brochure mentions area attractions for a reason: Get out there and enjoy!

Place is nice

The people and the place were really nice. The main thing is the spots are soooo small. You open your door and there is a picnic table and then the next camper. Really no room. Little outside snack area has good food. Pool is only 3.5’ deep. Mainly for kids, which is alright but wish that information was on there site.

Staff nice, site needed attention and weather was horrible.

We stayed here a week after we sold our home, constant rain ( thought I was back in Washington State !). The site near the front wasn’t kept up, just messy, weeds and junk on one side. The staff hooked up our TT to a tractor to put it in the site because the grounds were very soft. The man on 1 side said we were on his property, we didn’t park the TT the staff did, he then parked so close to our truck door we couldn’t get to it, in or out. Later I talked to him, we were traveling with 3 senior medical rescues dogs, he moved his truck.

Family campground

Many crafts and things to do for the kids. A bit too crowded for my individual taste and no shade in area for non seasonal campers.
