Take Highway 2 over Stevens Pass to find old-growth trees around each spot at Money Creek Campground, plus a view of a classic metal train trestle. Fill each day with hikes through the Cascade forest, perhaps on a stretch of the Pacific Crest Trail where it passes the Stevens Pass Mountain Resort ski area. Head east of Stevens Pass to verdant Lake Wenatchee State Park for wooded campsites near the shores of a placid mountain lake and a stable inside the park offering trail rides through the summer. Sometimes camping in Washington means getting off the beaten track to explore the quiet corners of the state. Take a forest road in Olympic National Park to find a green haven of mossy logs and curious chipmunks, or head north around Mount Baker, the Cascades’ northernmost volcano, for boat-in campsites around Baker Lake. In winter, the snowy expanse of Artist Point near Mount Baker' offers killer views of rugged glaciers for intrepid snow campers and backcountry skiers.


There are spectacular overnights to be had in the Pacific Northwest’s national and state parks, not to mention the remote U.S. Forest Service lands that blanket this corner of the country. Come enjoy the newest Naches RV Resort Community, located just 15 miles outside of Yakima, Washington. This beautiful RV spot includes a 360’ view of the gorgeous “Hills of Gold”. This magical spot also offers ample opportunity for sunrise or sunset chasing, outside dining, story time around a fire pit, bike riding, hiking (for all levels), a dog park for your furry family member and so much more.

During the winter months you can take a short drive to White Pass (45 min) to access areas for cross country & downhill skiing, snowboarding, sledding & snowshoeing.

In the Spring and Summer months you can find white water rafting, slow river tubing, water skiing, paddle boarding, fishing, hunting and local valley wine tasting and breweries.

The Naches RV Resort is in the process of building first class amenities which include a clubhouse with pool/hot tub & large patio area, fitness center, showers, laundry, sports courts and a playground area.

Completion date is scheduled for 2024.

Site #6 is a back-in, full-service site with water, sewer, 30/50AMP service, outdoor kitchen area, propane fire pit (please bring your own propane tank), a dedicated lawn space for your furry family member & yard games.

In accordance with the Naches RV resort rules and regulations your RV must be 24’ or larger and be newer then 15 years old. Only 5th wheels, travel trailers, Class A & C motorhomes will be accepted. A photograph of your vehicle will be required before finalizing your reservation.

Housekeeping- In order to keep this a pet friendly spot please always keep your pups on a leash and pick up any waste and dispose of it properly.

Facilities
All four BLM-managed recreation sites offer picnic tables, fire rings, nearby dumpsters and vault toilets. Hookups and potable water are not provided. Big Pines campground is where the majority of the campsites are located, and contains two group campsites. Umtanum, Lmuma Creek, and Roza also offer campsites. Umtanum and Roza receive high day-use visitation during the summer months. Roza offers a concrete boat launch. Motorboats are prohibited upstream from Roza.

Besides fly-fishing, river rafting, hiking, biking, horseback riding, wildlife photography, bird watching and water sports, the main attraction to Ellensburg is the warm weather and sunshine.  Ellensburg has a full range of art galleries, restaurants, wineries, breweries and is home to the Kittitas County Barn Quilt self-guided tour.  Bring your family and pet. Vacation in your recreation vehicle.  Camp in this quiet, peaceful RV Park in the country, away from freeway noise.  Wake up hearing the birds singing and watch the fantastic sunsets in the evening.  Yakima River RV Park is a beautiful campground, just minutes south of Ellensburg, on the majestic Yakima River!  

The RV sites are spacious and pull-through with 30 and 50 amp power, with beautiful lush grass for tent sites.  Check-in hours are between 1:00 p.m. and dark.  Reservations may be made ahead.

The cities of Ellensburg and Yakima, Central Washington University, and Cowiche Canyon trails are near by. Umtanum recreation site offers a footbridge to cross the Yakima River and access to Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife Lands on the west side of the river.

Conveniently located right off exit 84 of I-90, we are a beautiful, forested campground on the Yakima River. Open year round, our 60 acre park has a large swimming pond, playgrounds, a jumping pillow, and fiber optic Wi-Fi throughout the park. We pride ourselves on being a comfortable, friendly, and clean park. We are a short drive away from the City of Cle Elum, and the many hiking trails it holds. Pet and family friendly, we are a great place to camp at at any point in the year.

Whispering Pines RV Campground

Any season is a good time sit around the fire, gaze at stars and enjoy a cup of coffee by the river.  But, if you’re looking to do a little something more than “nothing”, Elkridge Campground has several options for you.

Whether you’re seeking outdoor adventures like hunting and hiking, or just looking to unwind in fresh mountain air, we welcome you to Elk Ridge.

We have 20 unique RV sites to suit your camping needs.  With 10 lower level spaces just a short walk to the river and 10 upper level spaces conveniently located near the bath house, you’re sure to find the perfect fit.  All RV sites come with water and electric (30 amp).

We have 7 tenting areas that parallel the river, some with private beaches.  All sites have shade trees and access to water and electricity nearby, as well as a fire pit and picnic table.  We allow one car per tent and max 4 people per tent.

Elk Ridge Campground 

The Emerald City is one of the Pacific Northwest’s premier cities and a popular place to stop. While the city doesn’t offer many camping or RV options, it’s rich in amenities and is a great visit on your way to any of Washington’s parks.

The best camping near Seattle is on Blake Island State Park, though it’s only accessible by boat. If that doesn’t bother you, the park is a beautiful place to be during summer evenings. Seattle tends to be a popular stop for travelers heading to campsites in Olympic National Park near Port Angeles, WA. The surrounding Olympic National Forest is also a great choice if you can’t get one of the campgrounds you were hoping for at Olympic.
