Pineglen is the perfect RV campground for enjoying the Florida’s Emerald Coast. Nestled away among the palm trees, pine trees and fishing ponds we offer a quiet retreat just minutes from the best white sand beaches, golf courses, restaurants and shopping malls that Panama City Beach has to offer. We are friendly, easy to get to, and hard to leave. Give us a try and you’ll see why our guests come back year after year.
We just stayed here for the weekend with our two kids and dog and it was so nice. We had a site right in front of the pond and it was not a long walk to the bathroom/shower area. Showers could have been a bit cleaner, but overall it was a nice stay. Wish they kayak rentals for the ponds. But it was still nice and quiet!
We were evacuated, hurricane Milton, and found this as the last place that had a place only four of the spots have electrical. It’s very very backwards, camping, huge mosquitoes, huge bugs, alligators in the lake, bear boxes and bear meat racks, the road to it is terrible very very bumpy like driving over a river. You need to be almost in an off-road SUV vehicle to get to it and it’s 2 miles… Once you get there it’s just downright scary! The only good thing that we found out out of this is that there is an unknown RV park 10 miles down the road off of Bristol called River Landing RV park because they’re not listed on any of the pages so far we didn’t find them. But you can look them up online. I don’t know if I’ll be allowed to post their link here but if so, here it is. https://riverlandingrvpark.com/ Even the host of the other place sent us here
I truly believe that it is the soul of the RV Park that makes it wonderful. The owners and managers of this park are absolutely incredible. The most accommodating kindest, most friendly people I have ever run across in all of the travels I’ve done which is many and my RV! This place has not been on the map before it is new and it has only had about a month in operating at this location. I kind of accidentally ended up here when being evacuated from hurricane Milton in Clearwater and somebody else from another campground that turned out to be a bust suggested we go here because it was an unknown location. Well Joanie, the owner was packed, but she fit us in anyway she made a parking space she created a connection. She figured out how to get water to us and welcomed us with food and music. The park inside has tables and chairs and little beautiful hanging lights a big fire pit and a really nice bathhouse with laundry room… We were instantly welcomed and various churches brought over food to all the campers here who had been evacuated from their homes… the place is beautiful and clean and sits on the prettiest river the Apalachicola river. It’s pet friendly and lots of dogs and kids with a big bounce house for the kids to play on guys came over from churches with guitars and played music just a wonderful place to beif you’re on your way back down to Florida evacuating run don’t walk to this campground because there’s lots of space here that is unfilled at the moment just because she isn’t well known.
We stayed at site D7A this was our first time stay at Indian pass we loved it we have a 40’ 5th wheel and it fit in the site easy site was a little un level but not to bad it was quiet even when the park was packed we will absolutely be back
Nice campground. Helpful staff at check-in. It has a nice pool and is on the beach. Access is across Route 98, but the traffic was minimal. There is some road noise at site#39, but it is not bad. Level site, full hooks, cable TV, and good internet speeds. Getting the RV positioned was a little tricky. While the site is long enough, the sewer connection is closer to the front of the site, so we could not park at the back. We had to be positioned to reach the sewer connection and work our rear slide around a large palm tree. Site 39 backs up to the pool and park office. At busier times, there may be a lot of people traffic, but not during our stay. Also note that there are no firepit or grills provided at the site. You must have your own grill. We enjoyed our five-night stay here. IGA grocery store in Carrabelle is the closest. Fathom’s Steam Room and Raw Bar is an old Florida open-air restaurant and bar with live music. There is a small dog park in the resort. Lots to explore in the area: Carrabelle, Eastpoint, St George Island, Lighthouse, and State Park, Tate’s Hell State Forest, Crooked River Lighthouse, or just relaxing by the pool or on the beach.
The name of this resort is wrong in the Dyrt app. It's Carrabelle RV Resort. We stopped here for a few nights while traveling and exploring Florida. The resort was nice. Our site was #18. We could see the beach from our spot. The bathrooms were clean. Everyone there was super friendly. They had a nice size pool but I didn't use it. We found a museum .02 miles away and crooked lighthouse to explore.
We stayed a week here and had a great time. The only complaints weren’t the parks fault. The yellow biting flies are the spawn of satan. I read they are most prevalent April-June and they were horrible. I wish the new pool was open, but I understand that’s out of their control. We loved our site and it had some shade, but not all sites do have shade. The sites are relatively level and very clean. The park is in a convenient location and quiet.
It was reasonable and the people who ran it were very nice. Nice store
Nice big sites, excellent hosts, very clean. Would definitely return.
Site #1. May. No one else there. Pretty hot during the day - 90s and around 70 at night. But the spring is about a 5 min walk and one can swim whenever. Already made reservations for next year. Beautiful and quiet only 3 sites. Sites good size. Picnic pavilion is excellent.
This site was great and right on the beach. It is close to the road but you’ll hardly notice. The Host was great and was very accommodating.
The only negative was we had to dig up the sewer connection which is right by the water hookup.
2 warnings the site has no shelter from the wind and a storm could damage your Rv which happened to us and bring a good rug for the outside because you’ll get sand everywhere.
Pros: -Right on the water, 1 minute walk to the beach. We could see the water from our site A1 -quiet and remote area with fewer people than surrounding 30A areas -close to Cape San Blas and Port St Joe to explore -clean bathrooms and showers
Cons:
The place was very well kept and nice. Great views and nice employees who were very friendly and helpful. WiFi is very spotty and Verizon is very weak. AT&T phones worked well. Wife was not able to connect for a work meeting, but other than that the cable tv works well. No beach area or fishing from shore. You can rent a boat to go out fishing. Price was reasonable.
Stayed here last year and fell in love with the park! Woke up every morning to a gorgeous view of the water. Owners are sweet people and very proud of their park.
With only 20 sites, this Campground is small, but very peaceful with great views. Most sites are a tight Squeeze for larger campers.
Quiet camping , clean and not crowded. No cell signal, peaceful near the river.
Showers were clean and well keep. The campground was nice
Very nice and clean area just a little buggy.
Somewhat isolated, but Saint Joe is not far away. Everything you need is pretty much on site. Great place for kayaking, surf fishing, and there’s a boat ramp right next-door. Beautiful scenery, and well almost always full, it’s not a large campground, and you have some privacy. 3 miles down. The road is a nice oyster bar. The camp office sells frozen bait. Verizon service is excellent.
This is a beautiful spot. The pavilion is very nice. The outhouse was very clean. Nice quiet place to stay.
Stayed on sit 58 right on water, full hook up, Bathrooms clean, Wi-Fi good but you have to sign in with the company providing it 7 dollars a day, great access to beaches, good fishing along beaches and jetties, plenty of places to walk and ride bikes
I have read a lot of the reviews. I think some of these people had other issues that caused them to give a bad review. Yes, this is known as a cat haven but with people who have dogs should stay in the dog parks, If they don't accept a place that cannot turn a blind eye to cats. This is an RV park and a campground and I'm not sure why people would expect more luxury than the outdoors experience. This is a beautiful getaway away from the ocean but right next door, and people would love this place if they knew the history behind it and maybe honor it a little bit more. The impact from people that don't like this place gives it a bad reputation. Why listen to someone who don't want you to know about the experience? Just want you to know what they think about it. This is a great place and there are a lot of hardworking, honest people. This is not just a campground, people are residents here and have been here a long time, some would even call it home. There's nothing wrong with anything about this place. It is a wonderful place to be.
We were scheduled to stay here a few years back, but our trip was canceled due to a hurricane. The campground kept the credit on our account and we were finally able to use it! The staff is very friendly, and the campsites are well kept. We didn't use the bathhouse, but the laundry room was very neat and tidy and thw machines were clean! Would definitely stay here again!
This recommendation is based on our site location which was oceanfront. We were there over Thanksgiving and the location with the sunset and views was worth the slightly higher cost we normally pay. Check out the campground site map, and if there is an oceanfront site, you won't regret booking this RV resort.
We didn't experience too much of the town, restaurants or shops, but we did LOVE Mexico beach. It is beautiful, white sand beach and was empty on Thanksgiving weekend. The dogs loved it! Highly recommend this park, but definitely get a site on the ocean.
This spot was plenty big for our 40’ Class A and toad. RIGHT ON THE BEACH! You do get some road noice, but to us being right on the beach offset that. It has full hookups, picnic table and fire pit. We will definitely try to come back as we love Cape San Blas.
Small site. There are two hookups there, so if you have a neighbor it’ll be a little tight. However, you’re so close to the beach, that white noise from the ocean will give you plenty of privacy.
We stayed in November so it was cool. But still great. We slept with the windows open. It was glorious.
The dogs had a great time chasing crabs on the beach and my daughters were able to find several perfect sea shells.
We had an amazing time. Cape San Blas is secluded. You’re about 10 miles from a grocery store and restaurants (we planned meals). But there is a general store that is surprisingly well stocked. It doesn’t have everything, but it’s got the things you might need to fill out any missing staples from your pantry.
We loved it. Will stay again.
We camped here in 2022 and loved it! Water views, tons of trails, both walking and biking, deer cane right into our campsite a few times and we saw so many on our bike rides. Beautiful campground, well maintained! One of our favorites!
