What you should know
Military ID requirements: Clear Lake Recreation Area requires military identification. "Military ID required. Sites 1-15 have zero shade and are close together. Dogs are not allowed on the beach or lake areas," warns Jennifer B. Civilian access is restricted.

Site length limitations: Bowl and Pitcher Campground accommodates medium-sized RVs. "Bowl and Pitcher campground has several partial-hookup sites with electricity and water, and several with no hook ups. There is a dump station, and two restrooms both with showers. The largest site length is 45 feet, so large RVs won't fit," advises Joel R.
Hookup availability: Liberty Lake Regional Park offers water and electrical hookups. "The RV spots are pretty close, but is surrounded by nature and trails," mentions Theresa G. The park provides basic amenities for self-contained units.
Leveling challenges: Wolf Lodge Campground may require leveling equipment. "Concrete strips are are no longer level, one of the main bathroom/shower 'lodges' out of order, offering porta-potty or walk to other end of grounds," warns Sherrie C. Campers should bring leveling blocks.
