Description
Open sage-and-sparse-timber country in Uinta National Forest's Diamond Fork corridor, this dispersed area offers several large pullouts along a gravel road with light washboard — manageable for any vehicle, including rigs pulling short trailers. Shade is minimal, as trees thin out considerably at the camping sites. The area draws heavy use on summer weekends and holidays; shoulder-season visits offer considerably more solitude.
