Great customer service

Very helpful and friendly staff! Happy with our decision. very understanding with our late check in and check out. Would definitely stay again!

Nice camp ground

Nice enjoyable campground… high level of Covid respect. We utilized this camp ground as a home base while visiting Mackinaw Island and did not really spend a ton of time onsite. They had the general store closed but everything was available via text. This included getting information for the ferries and local attractions which they responded with great info. They also arranged for our ferry and shuttle to the island. We stayed in a w/e/s site which was nice as this was a multiple stop trip and we enjoy using our facilities on board for showering with two boys. Standard pool amenities and with the general store being closed they had several small grocers and stores near by. I have to say that the camp grounds were really quiet at night which is very different than Illinois. Lights out and quiet after 9/10pm. Very much enjoyed this

Great base camp

Close to Leggs restaurant. Mackinac Island. Tunnel of Trees. Upper peninsula Michigan. All this and a great campground.

Can’t wait to go back!

Good spot to stop for a night and relax

Typical KOA! It was really nice, clean, and the people were helpful! The pool was great for swimming, and mackinaw city is a great place to walk around and explore! Also recommend visiting the Headlands Dark Sky Park about 10 mins away, awesome views of the stars over Lake Michigan 🙂

Great Campground in a beautiful place

This campground is located just out of town in Mackinaw City, MI. The location of the campground is within 5 minutes of downtown Mackinaw, within 1-2 miles of a beach and about 10-15 minute drive of St. Ignace. The campground pretty small and quiet. We camped in a small back in site with water and electric hook-ups. There is one bathroom and shower facility but it looks like they are building another. The bathroom was clean and constantly maintained. The staff was friendly, and helpful. They offer trash pick up each morning and ice delivery. There is a small campground store with some basic essentials. There is some construction going on, but we haven’t heard any equipment and the area is fenced off with a privacy fence so we haven’t seen the construction either. Overall this campground is very nice.

This was a great campsite, by far one of the cleanest I've stayed at, very friendly staff, and good services. Price is good too! So glad we went!

Clean and cheap

Clean restrooms and showers, cozy little cabins of all different sizes. Would go there again.

We have camped here the last three years 3 times . We feel safe here . I don’t like that we couldn’t put my sons play tent up and the bathroom stinks .

Family Fun Campground

Our family camped at this KOA in June 2018. They had a small playground for the kids. There was also a nice heated pool for them to swim in. Camping spots are shady. Most are pull through. This campground was easy to drive our camper through and easy to find. It’s in a great location and there is a shuttle that will pick you up if you want to go to Mackinac Island. The shuttle will take you directly to the ferry. The campground has laundry facilities that are clean. The employees are very friendly and helpful. We did not use bathhouses here as we had full hook ups.
