Housekeeping Camp — Yosemite National Park

We stayed in housekeeping tent a couple weeks ago and it was just a great time. The campers for great the people running the place were great it was just a wonderful relaxing time.

This is the best location in Yosemite. Super easy with great views of Yosemite falls and creek to play in. Bathrooms were clean. Spaces have enough room that you aren’t on top of each other. Tents have outlets to plug in a few items. Beds were comfortable enough. Tent could have been cleaner, but it’s camping so everything has a layer of dust. Will definitely be back.

You're staying in Yosemite Valley, one of the most beautiful places in the world. We stayed a couple nights in the tents, and it was fine. They're close together, but it's nice to have a "room" instead of just a tent. The bathrooms and showers were nearby too. Be sure to enjoy the countless miles of trails and epic views.

I’ve been staying here since I was probably about 8 years old and I love coming here. It’s camping, but you have electricity, a camping mattress, and community bathrooms and showers. Some campsites are considered “river-front” but all campsites are pretty close to the river. The only major complaint I have is that I wish rangers or staff came by at 10 (start of quiet hours) because the sound travels quickly and large groups can sometimes make a lot of noise. Will be bringing my children here in the future for years to come.

this is the ultimate glamping. Bunk beds, electrical outlets, private patio with awning and round picnic table, even curtains for your shared sleeping quarters. Near by clean restrooms running hot water. Id recommend wearing sandals for showering. Nice open space between campsites. We had the campsites reserved months in advance next to the river. It was pretty dry the this time. Enough water to capture some great photos. In the campgrounds there were large bear lockers, and well distributed benches and fire rings. Quiet time is 10pm and they are strict about it. Cant reallly complain about yosemite though. Its just pure beauty.

This was definitely a different kind of camping. The little shelter things neat. We didn't hang out much there because there's so much cool stuff to get to. Waterfall was in view of our campsite and it was amazing. Good place for driving, hiking, and even biking. Super family friendly. We loved it all.

Great location right in the valley. Amenities were nice (showers, laundry, food). The three-sided cinder block enclosure was a bit rustic and dirty. Would have felt cleaner actually camping in a tent where you can control what comes in and out of your personal space. Hiked several days in the park and took in sunset from Glacier Point (while doing the 4 mile hike earlier in the day from the valley floor up to the point). Beautiful!
