Best RV park
Best little RV park in Texas with all of your amenities! You receive 10% off with Good Sam discount , bringing your total to $41 per night for a 30 foot class C motorhome 1 per night. Also the most friendliest office lady, that offered us fresh eggs and gave us a little goodie bag.

A blessed place
I would like to thank you for the wonderful service provided, something simple for some but there is something I felt when entering this place in every part built there is love, patriotism and respect. I wish you much prosperity and successđâ¤ď¸đđđ˝

No frills but clean and quiet
Cute little park. All spaces are large and pull throughs. Restrooms are better than most. Park is a little small for large dogs but still okay. Pattern gravel but very level. Both 30 and 50 amp and good water pressure

Very clean
We just stopped for the night and were happy with the park. Very clean well maintained. Excellent WIFI and cell service for Verizon
Very friendly staff
We changed our plans for travel and called the day of to book, the staff was incredibly friendly, made sure I knew the exit, showed us our spot and gave the kids a goodie bag. Very clean, beautiful views and the decorations are cute. 10/10 recommend to anyone visiting fort Stockton.
Nice clean park for a night.
Friendly staff. Clean restrooms and showers. Water and electric. Not the Hillside RV park. Don't confuse the two.
Easy access
Nice place to stop for the night. Super easy to access right off the I10. Literally on a hilltop lol. Really clean and super roomy.
Nice place for a stop over.
Conveniently located off if I-10. Nice sites. Friendly helpful staff. Good facilities.
Great place for a night.
Right off of I10. Lovely view. Hosts are great, nice "Puppy Patch". Forewarning, they do not allow Pibbles or Rotties.
Canât get a response
I have emailed this campground twice in the last week and they have not responded back yet.
Nice and clean in the middle of West Texas
Nice clean campground with a nice pool. Cool metal art all around the campground. Great sunset. Pretty windy, but thatâs west Texas.
Great stopover!
FHU sites are level and have a small pad with a picnic table. All of the property is very dusty, like all of west Texas. Close to town, but not too close. Bathrooms clean. Pool was nice, too. Easy on/off I-10. Nice manager showed us to our site. Reasonable price.
GREAT RV PARK
We stayed here over night and had a great stay, the staff was great facility was spotless. Good WIFI and water pressure was OK also. Very big spots easy for large rigs to get in and around park.
Convienent
This was a nice clean park that is easy in and out. The owner was very friendly. The pool was very refreshing after driving and setting up. The sites are level but close together. There are several long term people here. This is a nice quiet place to stop in Fort Stockton.
Clean, level sites
Perfect level sites. Nice clean facilities. Pool, laundry. On top of the world. Awesome views!

Great park !
After traveling 11 hours to pick up our new camper , we are very happy we chose hilltop to be our very first RV Park on our way home . Owners have a great sense of humor & very welcoming. The pool & restrooms were very clean , & we enjoyed it a lot . We will definitely be back !
Great prices for the good quality.
Clean, convenient stopover
Probably one of the better options for stopping over on your way through Texas. Itâs a clean, well-maintained pile of dirt with good hookups and long sites. Felt very clean and very safe.
Close to Walmart, gas, etc though for the price if youâre only killing one night it might be worth just staying at Walmart which is well-lit and busy (I went late after getting set up at the site and I saw at least 10 TVs posting up for the night).
On our drive through also saw Fort Stockton RV which has a better view and a few trees.
Nice stay atop the hill
I typically rate campgrounds as they fit into 1 of 5 categories. This campground will be rated as an âalong the wayâ stay â grounds that you seek out for a night or two as a place to simply stay the night along your journey to regroup and get some sleep. Ratings for this category are based on: Cost: 5 Overall grounds: 4 Utility of sites (hookups, level ground, accessibility): 5 Noise: 4 Reservation Process/Ease of Getting a Site: 4 Layout: 4 Customer Service: 5
What they say is true: this is an RV Park on top of a hill. We didnât have high expectations knowing a Walmart is 2 miles away, but the views were actually quite nice! Staff are so, so friendly and helpful and the overnight stay is $30 (with GoodSam) for full hookups (many spaces are pull thru).
We thought it was really a nice spot to unhitch for the night. Fort Stockton doesnât have a ton of draw but we were able to run a couple errands, do laundry and wash our tow vehicle in town!
The layout of the park is fairly standard. Gravel spaces, somewhat close together and no privacy in between, but they do have a small patio and picnic table. Hookups were reliable and easy to access.
The pool looked really nice though we didnât use it. The wifi was very solid, though they ask you donât use it to stream. The laundry room was pretty clean.
There is some road noise from I-10 as it passes immediately by the campgrounds, but we didnât find it a nuisance overnight. Their website is pretty primitive so you have to call for reservations but they have a limit on how far out you book... I think itâs 45 days. A good stop as you make your crawl across the massive state of Texas.

Deserves 5 stars but dog breed restricted
Well kept, quiet campground. Very close to freeway but if the drone of traffic puts you to sleep, it's a good spot for the night. Good wifi. No rottweiler or pitbull breeds.
Good for an overnight stop
We stayed here for a pit stop overnight and had a good experience. The staff was really nice and waited for us even though we were running late. They have full hook ups but no cable. And it looks like they have a nice pool, although we didnât get a chance to use it.
Good place to stop
It pretty much rained almost the entire two days we were there. đ
Pros:
- All non-permanent sites are pull through. Still ended up unhooking our tow vehicle because we are almost 40â long. zthry say they are big rig friendly, but we may have been put in whatever was available.
- Nice picnic table.
Cons:
- Local rock and dirt turns into a sludgy mud that we are still vacuuming out of our Jeep.

Great overnight
I booked a pull thru for the night when traveling solo. Pretty sunset, friendly host and lots of sites. Close to interstate and safe. I would def stay again.
