Blu-Shastin RV Park

Reservable and pet-friendly, Blu-Shastin RV Park sits along the Peshastin River in Peshastin, Washington, with full hookup sites (electric, water, and sewer) priced around $45 per night. Unpaved roads run throughout the property, meaning dust kicks up with each passing vehicle. Cell coverage is essentially nonexistent here due to surrounding terrain, and WiFi reaches only as far as the office and clubhouse rather than individual sites.

Sites vary considerably in quality. A portion of the park houses long-term residents, and several reviewers note the contrast between those sections and the transient camping areas. Spacing between RV sites is tight enough that awnings can conflict with neighboring rigs, and extra fees apply if campers want to pitch a tent alongside their trailer. The Peshastin River runs along the back of the property, and Cris jason L. notes a "creek right out the back of our site," which multiple visitors cite as a genuine draw.

Amenities include a swimming pool, fire pits, horseshoes, and a clubhouse with pool tables and video games. Ice and firewood are available for purchase until 7 PM. The park sees heavy use during summer weekends, particularly when groups with children arrive. Leavenworth, the well-known Bavarian-themed town, sits a short drive north and serves as a common base for day trips in the region. Campers preferring a more dispersed experience can look into Peshastin Creek Dispersed - Wenatchee NF to the south, or Icicle River RV Resort for a different style of full-hookup stay.

Many campers appreciated the riverside setting and friendly management at this park near Leavenworth. Several guests observed concerns about tight site spacing and facility maintenance, while connectivity remains limited due to the mountain location.

Looks good in pics. Not in person.

The first 1/3 of the park is full Time rv's. With buildings attached to the trailers and trash outside of them. One has half a recliner by their front door. The camping spots for everyone else are so close to each other that you can't put your awning out all the way without hitting the trailer next to you. My left slide was less then a feat from the power pole and my right slide was about 2 feet from the other side of the camping spot. No room for a tent and a trailer on 80% of the spots and they charge extra if you want to set up a tent on the spot you already paid for. They have a pool but its dirty. There is a slime film on the bottom and water is not clear. They have a small game room but most of the games are old and in disrepair. None of the games are free. There is wifi but only in the office. There is no cell coverage due to the mountains. Closest town in a 20 min drive away. Nothing is paved so dust kicks up everytime someone drives by. The owner/manager smells of alcohol early in the day. I will not be returning.

Nice campground with amenities

Great campground. Easy check-in after hours and tons of things for everyone in the family to do. Close to the highway but wasn’t loud at night

Many great features.

Blu Shastin was a pretty nice find just a few minutes from popular Leavenworth and Cashmere WA. We got a decent full hookup site (67) that was backed up to the Peshastin river. Many sites have access and viewing of this small river and we really enjoyed the peaceful sounds. The park was clean and well maintained, and Dave the owner/manager was really friendly. They have nice sized pool, horseshoes, and a clubhouse with pool tables and a couple of video games. There is no store to speak of but they do sell ice and firewood until 7 PM. A couple of drawbacks… No Wi-Fi was available, although they say they have it. It is in a cell dead zone. We actually enjoyed being disconnected from the Internet etc. There are some “permanent residence“ sites that were pretty rundown/unsightly… If the pictures of those were posted on their website we would not have come. We did enjoy our stay and the staff was super friendly!
