This campground is very small with just 8 covered RV pads available with a limit of 32' length. They were "designed with the Airstream in mind" but they seem to be open to any type of trailers as there were 2 non-Airstreamers during our stay. They have their own Airstreams available for rent through AirBnB or else you can bring your own trailer and pull into one of their paved slips. Reserving a site was easy via email and texting with the owner. It was completely contactless and they gave us thorough instructions on how to access the grounds and where to find our site.
They offer 50/30 amps, full hookups, and WiFi. For $50/night right on the outskirts of central Marfa (about 2.5 miles from the center of town), we found the price to be mostly reasonable for the paved, covered spot. We understand the town can be a tourist hot spot so prices are a little higher reflecting that. COVID prevented use of any shared areas, but they seemed to have a common grilling/patio area. They offer two Adirondack chairs at each site, which adds a nice touch. The grounds are on a large open lot and surrounded by ranch lands. The views of the night sky are bar none. Access to the grounds is via a graded dirt road that was very muddy when we left as we had rain for 3 days straight. It did not make access to the grounds difficult, though. Make sure you heed their instructions on how to access the grounds as one of the access roads shown on Google maps actually takes you over high-clearance railroad tracks that could cause RV damage.
A perfect spot for home base to visit Marfa and take in the night sky reserve!
