Beautiful sites

We camped here in August with our grandchildren. We had great “neighbors”. It was so beautiful and the camp sites were right in the water. We had such a great time there. We can’t wait to go back!

Great Campground

Stayed overnight here on September 14th . Pleasantly surprised to find such well kept facilities. Bathrooms modern and very clean. Nice pool area. Hosts were helpful and friendly. Nicest KOA Journey we have seen in a while.

Secluded Campground in National Forest

It was difficult for me to find Woods Ferry, but after talking with a park official, I finally got there. It is off the beaten path, so it is quiet. Apparently, there had been a lot of rain recently, and the area showed it. Woods Ferry is a campground mainly for campers who have horses. There are…

Primitive Camping Close to Hunting

If you want to get away from civilization, this might be the place to camp. However, it is beside a road, but the road is not used very much since it is a national forest road.

I was glad to see that it had running water and one of the cleanest pit toilets I think I have ever seen. The…

Great campging at Lake Wateree

1st time here and it was amazing! Nice owners and very helpful. Bathrooms were very clean. The wifi was great. The beach area is super nice to spend a day on the water with your family. Price is a little higher then the state park but so worth it!!

Clean, Safe, and Super Friendly!

This campground was recommended to me by a friend. After car camping for a few days, my son and I came here to a surprisingly comfortable cozy and AIR CONDITIONED (!) cabin for 3 nights. This place is so cute! There is an acre of catch and release pond, a playground and jump pad for kids, a pool,…

Lake view campground

This campground was absolutely beautiful. Had a tent site with a beautiful lake view and easy access for water activities. Our dog LOVED it! Would definitely stay again. Only complaint was camping in the heat but I guess that’s the price you pay camping in the south in the summer. 9/10.

Nice quiet stopover

From the welcoming hosts to the well groomed sites, this KOA is a perfect way-stop no matter where your winds blow. The salt-water pool was a pleasant surprise and the discreetly placed gnomes and fairy gardens along the way make this place just right. Topping the evening off was a chorus of song…

Our first RV experience with our first camper. Croft is clean with clean bathhouses. Camp ground A sites are bigger than B. We spent 3 nights on #29(B) mod slope to back in but easy leveling. 26 ft trailer with adequate room. All sites and road are gravel. B camp sites face lake Craig thru the…

Peaceful & friendly

Compared to some other state parks in SC, this one was less crowded and more peaceful. It had rained right before we arrived, and we got stuck in the mud trying to back-in our pop-up on a hill (lake campground #29). The campers all pitched in to pull us out. It was silent at night. Nice hiking…
