A week away from it all

Bunker Hill Campground was amazing. Private, large sites with quick walkable access to Lemolo Lake. Clean pit toilet with toilet paper resupplied adequately, and that's saying a lot for a family of 8! Water available 1.5m down the road at Poole Creek Campground. Paved road access. Many dispersed sites in the area for day trips with the kayaks and swimming. Clean and peaceful. Other than our six kids, the only critters were a couple deer who liked to sniff around the tent at night and quite a few (oddly non-aggressive) yellow jackets. Quick drive to Diamond Lake (gas, supplies, beer, food, and a pizza place with growler filling station) and Crater Lake. Cheap firewood 1.5 m up the road at Lemolo Lake resort, bit if you have a decent axe there's plenty laid out in the area from a previous forest fire. NO noise at night! Best trip we've taken in awhile! Planning a return trip at some point. Sites 1 and 2 are not reservable, sites 3,4,5 are. You could use a popup, no hook ups, at sites 1, 3, and 5.
