LegendAt highway 66 near Ashland this park has both RV and tent sites. The RV sites are full/partial hook up (30 amp only) and dry camping. Note though that even if you pay for partial or dry you will still need to pay $10/dump your tanks. We opted for just full hook ups here. The tent sites are near the creek.
There was some work being done that appear to be some upgrades. There is a nice pool area, a pond and the creek. The sites are level with picnic tables and fire pits. There are bathrooms, free hot showers, laundry, dog run, playground and store. Also available is propane ($3.50/gallon) book exchange and ice. Wifi was fast and free.
The road noise is noticeable but not too bad. Some of the spots can be close but for a night it wasn't bad. Pets are allowed on leash only but there were a couple of loose dogs running around so be aware.
NOTE: Google tells you to turn on the street (Neil Creek Rd) just after the park so if you have a big rig then turning around could be difficult. Keep an eye out for the campground and turn into it directly from the main road instead.
All the office and maintenance staff were friendly and helpful and neighbors were friendly and quiet. We didn't get the tweaker vibe mentioned in some previous reviews. This place is cute - maybe there are new owners (who changed the name from Glenyan to Ashland Creekside, maybe?) who are trying to turn things around.

ScoutWonderful place to stay! Very nice little campground in Weed, CA. We originally were just stopping for the night so I had reserved a 50 amp pull thru, but we had some problems with our fifth wheel and my husband wanted some shade to work on it. Karen was nice enough to juggle reservations and get us in a 30 amp back in that had shade. Plus, we ended up staying for two nights. Karen was very accommodating and helpful and we really appreciated it! The campground is fun, has some outdoor games, a small dog park, and a community fire pit. And visiting the goats and chickens was definitely a bonus! I highly recommend Trailer Lane Campground and would definitely stay there again! We didn't use the bathrooms or laundry.
LegendEasy check in in this quaint little RV park right off OR 97 on the Williamson River. We were directed to our pull through site 26 with water and electric but only 30 AMP. We had to disconnect and park in the little field across from or trailer, which was not a big deal. Our site had 30 AMP but there were 50 AMP spots in the middle and on the river rows. All three rows with RV hook ups had sites close together as we had to adjust our rig to clear trees so we could get our slides out. There were plenty of areas to include a small playground and large grass area to walk the dogs. Verizon cell, cable, and the WIFI all worked well. Water Wheel was a well kept campground with 32 RV sites plus a private island connected by a small walking bridge across the river for tent campers. If we were tent campers this would definitely be a great place to camp. We enjoyed exploring the area. We would stay here again, but would definitely book in advance to get a river row site with 50 AMPs.
ScoutWe stayed for one week in site#23 with 50-amp electric service and water. Only the middle row of the park has full hookups, although the park has been making improvements since the current owners took over a couple of years ago. The manager and camp hosts are terrific! Very welcoming and very friendly. Most of the sites are small. There are a couple of sites that are a little bit bigger, especially those sites facing East. Site#11 is the best, in my opinion, as your patio would be right on the river! Aside from the size of the small site, the only downer for us is there weren't a lot of places to walk our dog without driving somewhere and no enclosed dog area. Otherwise, the park is dog-friendly. Plus, you and your dog can swim in the Williamson River that is there onsite. Cell signals from AT&T and Verizon provided enough connectivity for us to work during the week. AT&T, in particular, had a very good and strong signal. As the park is only about 40 minutes from Crater Lake National Park's South Entrance.
GuideWe avoid KOAs and other full amenities campgrounds because they're pricey and not the camping experience we desire but when we have chore day, we like a one-stop shop and will seek these out to dump, shower, do laundry. This is our second stay at this particular KOA over a couple of different trips.
We'll definitely keep this on our favs list when we have chore day.
ScoutWe prepaid and we’re assigned a site. We showed up before the 2PM check in time and couldn’t raise anyone so pulled into our vacant site which was supposed to be pull through but sites are back to back so difficult to do in addition our site had a tree 12-14’ from electric and utilities. Had to jockey a number of time to position our slide outs each side of the tree and other side slide out behind electrical. Not easy to position. Little later guy shows up and tells us we have to move. What? Said we were in the required fire Lane. I questioned it and he snapped that we had checked in early, I replied we tried the bell at the store and no one responded. Again we were chastised for being early. He stated fire Lane was in back of our fifth wheel. I paced it off and we were sixteen feet to the trailer behind. He responded you have to move. That would force us to pull forward almost out of our space. Based on his rudeness we said we would just leave. We were still charged even after requesting a refund.
LegendWe are generally not fans of RV parks but there were not a lot of options on our route near Klamath Falls. There are 34 sites; sites 12-20 are full hookup; the others have water and electricity. Sites 1-11 have Williamson River front views. The full hookup sites are in the center and have no privacy between them (but people in these sites would typically have larger RVs and not need privacy as much). In my opinion, Site 11 is the best site as it is a corner site with the most privacy.
The restrooms/showers are immaculate and are accessed via a keypad. There is also a very nice laundry room, playground (a bit dated), boat ramp, small beach (tents can set up here) and fire pit, and a dump station. There is actually a waterwheel! Cell service is strong and there is free WiFi.
Note that this park is located on Highway 97 and you will hear road-noise, especially at night when everything else quiets down. Despite this, we had a pleasant stay and Tracy in the office was very nice and helpful (we needed an additional 30 amp tail to use the electric and she provided us one to borrow).

For Oak Slope: Imagine a steep tiered parking lot with narrow spaces. The whole campground is on a hill so the higher sites just look down on the lower sites. Most sites are visible from any other site. The sites were not very level and they were narrow, as was the loop. The campground also backs to private property. All sites are dirt with paved parking, with picnic tables and fire pits. Some pull throughs.
There were bathrooms, one of which someone decided to dump a washer and dryer at. There weren’t too many campers when we went but I can imagine that on a weekend it would be awful. It is close to the lake which has bathrooms and playground.
We did not stay here. We picked a spot but then changed our minds and then left. There is an RV dump here. Cell reception with ATT, Verizon and TMobile.
TravelerGood points: I think this is the cheapest campground with amenities near Ashland, only $27.50/night for a tent site with a water pump. The place didn't feel sketchy at all- although there are clearly some long term residents, it feels well-run and family friendly. Wifi was surprisingly fast and reached all the way over to the tent sites, and there is a place near the bathrooms to wash dishes. All tent sites were shady with large blackberry bushes providing privacy on three sides.
The not-so-good: the tent sites have a road right behind them that's often busy and loud. The showers in the women's restroom have unbelievably poor water pressure, and the water temp fluctuated from boiling to freezing for no reason unless you twitched the dial just right. Also, there's no place to hang a hammock near the tent sites but that's just a quibble.
