TravelerStunning camping in a temperate rainforest. Sites are big and private. Very quite and tons of near empty trails even with a full campground on a weekend in the summer. Walking, bike, and horse trails. Close to the ten waterfall trail on the day use area.

GuideThis was a great campsite. We were in a walk in Tent site right on the lake which was quiet for the most part. Right next to hiking path that went around the lake. There didn't appear to be a boat put in around the area, but there is one down the street. We stayed in Campsite 28, which helped get away from the chaos of the big group sites which I would strongly Recommend! Beautiful place.
RangerThis is a lovely campground, of course perfect if you have horses, those sites are further in. Many of the sites have lovely views of the meadow with a little creek running through. The sites were decently spaced, and the surrounding area is lovely for hiking, biking etc. the lake is not far down either.
ScoutI lived in Oregon for a couple years as a kid and my family got big into backpacking. One of our family favorites was Pamelia Lake. The trail is gentle and the basin the lake is in has great mountain ranges surrounding. As an adult it was only right that this was my first place to solo. I spent a little over 3 days hiking around the area. This is a great place that has many trails of varying difficulties nearby.

GuideFirst and foremost, it's all about the waterfalls - all 10 of them - linked by paved hiking trails. Not a fan of sharing the trail with hikers when on your bike? There are miles of mountain bike trails. Have horses? They have trails too. Big group? Gotcha covered. Need a snack or gift? They're here. The campground is large and well-maintained. Sites are reservable. This is a park for all ages and all seasons.

Look for Bandits blue squeaky disk! We lost it and never found it.
TravelerHorse Creek group camp is one of my favorite campsites ever. Besides being gorgeous, the sites are large enough that you can have more than one tent in each, and the campground is all yours, so everyone camping is your pal! The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that the biffies aren't always pumped out often enough, and the water in the pump has a lot of rust in it. There is a big gravel area where you can gather for group campfire at night, and the sound of the creek is wonderful to sleep to. If you want even more privacy, you can lock the gate.
