Great place for ATV & OHV to explore the canyon. Weekdays pretty quiet. Busy on weekends. Trash around trash cans- people need to pack it out, not leave it on the ground
11 sites with tables and fire rings. Additional sites specifically for horse trailers. No cell service. Multiple hiking trails from the campground. 3 Creek Lake is .75 mile away. No water available
Multiple pull-offs in the area. Fire rings present, but current fire ban in effect so campfires not allowed.
W/s/e at each site. Great stay for the price. Laundry washers work well, but driers don't heat up. You can hear the highway and occasional aircraft (mostly ch-47s) during the day but nights are quite convenient to I5 and PX. Would definitely stay here again. If you are a light sleeper you might want to consider Holiday Famcamp instead.
The water pump nearest the parking lot was broken, but the one in the day use area works. Busy for rafters/fishing as a boat take out. Plenty of parking lot for overnight trips. 2 spots in the back are somewhat secluded- can't ask for more for free. Surprisingly I15 isn't that loud at night
2 great back in sites tucked into the trees with fire rings and tables. Other areas are a parking lot. Multiple tent sites. Bathroom was clean and stocked with tp. Hand pump water was broken in the camping area. Day use area has functioning water pump, but no way to drive to it. Great place to fish.
4 electric & water sites, plus dispersed sites. Water and dump available. You can hear the stock yards across the street, and train from the HU sites, but not really from the dispersed area. Laundromat in town center. Great playground for kids. Walking Trail nearby.
Some local traffic in front of the 3 parking pads, but for free you can't beat it. Obscured view of chimney rock. Dump station is 6 blocks away. Large park with tables across the street.
