Very well kept campground with a lot of shade trees. Good separation of seasonal and overnight campers. Pull through and back ins available with full hookups. Friendly and helpful staff. Playground for the kids and a fishing pond. Grass between sites...some are more level than others.
We really enjoy Paint creek campgrounds. They have a family movie on Friday nights (when weather allows). They also have breakfast on several Saturdays throughout the season.
The campgrounds is also close to a fantastic bakery.
We love paint Creek. Please make sure you check the grade of the site as there are several that have a nice slope. We didn't make it out on the water due to the rain but maybe next time.

We love Poor Farmers Campground. The staff is friendly and helpful and the sites are well maintained.
This campground has a huge lake. The campground itself has a different access point than the state park. If you have a boat in our camping this is a really nice feature. We had a spot at the end of a loop in the cul-de-sac area. Those spots are the largest by far. They can fit about 3 to 4 RVs,…
We took our first trip in our new 39’ travel trailer to Deer Creek. The layout of the campground is nice and I had no trouble navigating to our site or fitting the rig in. Our site was electric only but there are water taps throughout the campground for filling our fresh tank. We were even…
This place has a lot of seasonal campers and the ones we interacted with were nice. Some parts are more congested than others but not a horrible place to stay.
Have waited six months into our RV life to start reviews for fair comparisons. Spent 3 nights. Loved our spot (a fellow camper asked if we knew the mayor to get it…we don’t). Some hiking right from the site. Access down the trails to the water. Loved the bat boxes along the trails by the local boy…
As we drove through the campground we noticed that sites were not plowed, but by the time we got ours, it looked like it had been plowed ahead of time. We brought a shovel just in case and it helped clear off more of the pad. The snow was deep so we shoveled a path to our ez-up and to our fire…

Great place to test out the new pull behind. Campground was pretty empty and easy to find our spot. Nice and quiet and easy to get to.
Great time with Great People! Very family oriented place. Pool is heated, spacious. Cornhole, playgrounds, basketball available. Live music on weekend. Walking trails to lake. Will be back!
Located within an afternoon’s drive of downtown Dayton and Cincinnati, this park makes the perfect weekend getaway from the day to day grind. Located on a large reservoir, the state park has everything from boating, hiking and mountain biking to just sitting around the campground not doing much.

Was a great place to stay me and my wife both used to go as children and it was as we remember a great place to be and have your family pet friendly everybody's friendly just a little pricey and some locks are a little too car so Choose Wisely or call ahead to reserve would be the smartest thing if…
This was a last minute reservation and only available due to a cancellation. The campground was full for the weekend. The campground is pretty big with different types of sites. Some are smaller, close to neighbors while other have seclusion with trees. From past experience, if it rains, some of…
