We camped here in early June on an unseasonably hot and humid weekend. Our site was the last site available when I made the reservation about 6 weeks prior. Site 9 is next to the bathhouse and across from the dumpsters. Neither was an issue. Sites are very well spaced out and there are only 15 in…

We loved Martinak State Park! It’s a small park, flat sites, clean updated bathhouse with hot showers. We stayed on the electric loop which was a perfect size for our kids to ride bikes around. Multiple playgrounds, cute trails (flat and not very long) that are good for kids, and lots of…

First time here for us. Sites and big and for the most part lots of space between. A couple of sites are close and could be buddy sites. Bathroom was clean and typical for a state park. We will be back.
Lots of residents and seasonal campers. Great sunsets, quiet, easy Nanticoke river access. Great no frills campground, little beachy area, fishing and crabbing.
These campground is a great find. The sites are well spaced, and while on the smaller side they’re very private with woods between each one. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The other campers were all respectful and observed pet policy and quiet hours. I have a reactive dog and he did well…
Clean and safe
Great campground hidden away in the city. Clean sites include table and fire pit. Restrooms were clean, closed daily for cleaning between 1 pm - 3 pm. Two showers were included but didn’t use it so not sure about pressure or heat. The ranger delivers firewood to your site within about 10-15 min of…

Camped here the first weekend it was open in 2021. Nice campground Bathrooms are clean. Lots of hiking trails.
Spent Halloween here on a last minute reservation and man were we happy! This campsite is remote to the rest of VA for the most part, but hey isn’t that what camping is all about? Site #16 was perfect. It was gravel site that was level and very well maintained. Possibly our favorite campground in a…
Nice get-away from it all campground. Level sites, farmland all around. Well maintained, quiet campground.
They have a handful of sites that are more secluded and not right on the driveway loop. I've only camped in loop C and find it more quiet and less crowded than loop B. Probably because this loop only has toilets in the restroom. Showers are in loop B, which is a 5-7 minute walk. During holiday…

We stayed one night in a small cabin. It was cosy and warm on a cold night for fall. The cabins are clean and tidy and the campground is well run. It’s small and the sites are quite close together. There is a good trail around the campground, not long because it’s a small park, but the views of and…

Only 30 sites, all which have electric/water hookup. We’ve been here twice now, once with an RV and once in a tent. Most sites are shady and level, with lots of space between. The park rangers are friendly and knowledgeable, and there is a LOT to do. Beautiful hikes and bike trails, a small beach…
Nice sites, well separated. Campsites are not waterfront, but the park is with a boat ramp and several areas for fishing. A little bit of hiking available. If your visiting it’s close to Denton and Easton.
We chose this campground based on proximity to work. This campground was priced fairly, however, it does come with its downfalls.
Let me start with the positive, we were 1 of 3 campers in this loop during our week-long stay. This made it peaceful and quiet.
It's close to a…
