Located right off of the C&O Canal, there are plenty of sites available at Mulehalla for those who prefer rustic camping. These spots offer a quieter more rugged camping experience. Explore the C&O Canal or cool off in the Potomac River. Bring your gear, make some memories, and be sure to leave no trace! Firewood is available for$5.00 a bundle.

Beautiful spot on the Shenandoah River… You will see eagles, deer, ospreys, beaver and numerous other critters. Great fishing, boating and swimming not to mention the views. Lots of local cuisine and pubs. Flea markets and BBQ on the roadside and for those who dare the casino and horse racing!!!

We have kayaks, canoes and tubes available for rent. Fishing and flat water paddling from property and shuttle pickup. Water available. Fantastic views of wildlife!

Manor - Cunningham Falls State Park

The property is a modest 20 acre homestead located in Damascus, MD with 12 acres of woodland and a creek! Camping here also allows you access to the farm with friendly chickens, ducks, turkeys, pigs, cows, horses, sheep, goats, giant rabbits, cats, and dogs! If you enjoy farming, gardening, pastures, trees, creeks, natural springs, cabins or just hiding out in the woods; there's a great chance you will enjoy camping at our place. Pitch your tent anywhere in the woods or in a field or stay in the cabin equipped with a wood stove. We have trails wide enough to drive down so parking and set up is easy. Both campsites and RV sites are self contained. No electric or water hook ups and no restrooms yet (coming soon); so bring a composting unit if you wish.

Paved road access to property. 10 minutes from the Shenandoah and Potomac rivers, Appalachian Trail, breweries, wineries, pristine wilderness and some of the East Coast's best fishing and hunting. 5-10 mins easy and quick access to Maryland, Pennsylvania, DC and Virginia. Lovely property with gardens, chickens, sheltering trees, traditional smokehouse and sauna and well-maintained home and outbuildings. 1 non aggressive dog allowed on leash at all times. 1 horse allowed.

RV rental available. Utilities included: water, wifi, 50A plugs, 110v plugs, and greywater dumping. Blackwater pickup available for additional fee (approx $35 from porta potty service) or blackwater dump station 7 mins away. Wood burning sauna and traditional woodfired smokehouse available for use along with firepit and 16' canoe. RV spot is flat and easily accessible. Firewood, farm fresh eggs and seasonal produce available for purchase. Great for families, couples and solo travelers.

Shannondale Gate Harpers Ferry 

Mother Earth Organic Farm is the epitome of getting away. Camp with your tent, RV, schoolie, truck camper, or hammock tent on this marvelous organic farm with scenic pasture and mountain views. Bring your telescope or add ours as an extra. The night sky view is amazing! The Milky way is visible on clear nights. You may see farm animals including goats, chickens and cows during your stay. In addition, Mother Earth Organic Farm has a plethora of wildlife including hummingbirds, bald eagles, white egrets, turtles, bears, and foxes. There are walking trails on the farm and a 1/3 acre pond.

The Appalachian Trail (AT) is about a mile down the road (access point with ample parking). There are many parks nearby including Gambrill State Park, Cunningham Falls State Park (longest cascading waterfall in Maryland), Greenbrier State Park, and many others.



Mother Earth Organic Farm

Need wide-open space to unwind while enjoying some locally crafted wine and beer? We've got you! Our farm has 30 private acres of open fields, rolling terrain, wooded areas, and a running stream for wading and exploring. We are a scenic and easy 10 min drive from I-70 New Market, MD. Hang out with family and friends at your private campsite or enjoy music and libations at one of the many local wineries/breweries- most have weekend music festivals and food trucks during spring, summer, and fall months. Located in walking distance(1 mile) to Linganore Winery and Red Shedman Brewery, we are centrally located to eight other wineries and breweries that are an easy ten minute drive through scenic Frederick County farmland. Hiking more your thing? The Appalachian Trail is a mere 30 min drive and the historic C&O Canal(great for biking, jogging, hiking, and horseback riding) is a 30 min drive as well. Kayaking, tubing, rafting, and horseback riding are available in historic Harper's Ferry(35 mins) too. While there, you can check out the local shops, the C&O canal, hiking trails, and a self-guided tour of John Brown's Raid. There are plenty of local creameries(working dairy farms selling homemade ice cream, cheeses, and more) and farmer's markets for fresh farm to table fruits, veggies, and meats. Fine dining, history, and quaint antique stores more your thing? We've got you there too! Historic Mount Airy(10 mins) has lots of specialty shops and some farm to table restaurants, New Market(10 mins) has a plethora of quaint antiques stores, and Frederick(20 mins) has lots and lots of speciality shops and farm to table restaurants.
