Located within Chesapeake & Ohio Canal National Historical Park, Devil's Alley Hiker-biker Overnight Campsite requires hikers and cyclists to access the site on foot or by bike along the towpath. The National Park Service maintains this hike-in campsite with basic amenities including drinking water and toilets, though campers report the portable facilities may need servicing. The site sits adjacent to the Potomac River with direct water access, providing space for multiple tents on what reviewers describe as a large site. Cell phone reception remains unavailable in this remote location. Pets are not permitted at this campground, and the no-vehicle access policy keeps the area quiet for tent camping near Chesapeake & Ohio Canal National Historical Park.
