Dump station locations: Multiple campgrounds provide sanitary facilities. A visitor to Bourbon County Fairgrounds noted, "The dump station has easy access and allowed for a good black tank flush."
Site conditions: Some camping areas may require maintenance. At Timber Hill, a camper observed, "Almost every site had a lot of debris (just leaves and rotted wood) which I think led to there being a lot of ticks. I think it would be a great spot if it was cleaned up."
Electrical hookups: Available at select equestrian campgrounds near Pittsburg, Kansas. "We were guided to a large grass area and backed in next to an electric panel with multiple outlets. The 30amp worked well and we only had one other camper while we were there," reported an RVer at Bourbon County Fairgrounds.
