Good stop off

Riverside Park Campground, Irwin, Idaho

In Caribou-Targhee NF/Palisades Wilderness near Bridger- Teton NF. This is a first come , no reservation campground, at the foot of Palisades Dam on Snake River. We arrived around 2 pm and the sites were mostly empty. Several others arrived around 6 pm. This…

Nice campground

This was a nice campground. It is a first come first serve so get there early. When we got there we started to pull in to a two space campsite the host came over and directed us to his favorite site which was secluded at the back of the campground at the end of a culdesac. We went over the 4th of…

Targhee National Forest Riverside Park Campground is located in Idaho


From Irwin, ID, take US Rt. 26 east 1.5 miles to Palisades Dam Power Plant sign. Turn right at sign and go 0.4 miles to campground sign. Turn right at sign into campground.
