Nestled beside the Clearwater River at an elevation of 980 feet, the Pink House Recreation Site is surrounded by scenic views of semi-arid hillsides, and the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail. Visitors come to this site from all over the country to enjoy camping, world class fishing, boating, tubing, swimming, picnicking, and wildlife viewing. Tubing is one of the most popular activities on the section upstream of Orofino due to the river___s mellow rapids and accessibility. With over 10 access sites along the Clearwater River to put-in and take-out, recreationists have the option to float on the river as long as they desire.__
Pink House Recreation Site can accommodate RV and tent camping. This site features 15 RV sites with full-hookups - water, electricity (30-amp connection), and sewer. Each site has standing BBQ grills, picnic tables, and fire rings. Two of the RV sites are pull-through, while the rest are back-in only. Two of the back-in only RV sites are accessible. Pink House Recreation Site also features three tent campsites with standing BBQ grills as well as picnic tables and fire rings. All three tent campsites have excellent views of the Clearwater River. There is a concrete boat ramp, which provides access to the Clearwater River year-round. If you are just visiting for the day, there is ample parking for vehicles including trailers.__ Several water hydrants, providing potable water, are distributed throughout the site. There are also several toilets (flush and vault) and two dumpsters on-site.__ There are two accessible group pavilions for day-use only. The pavilions are reservable through Recreation.gov. Most of the RV sites and all three tent sites offer excellent views of the Clearwater River. Native trees provide abundant shade throughout the site. Guests can access the large sandy beach with just a short walk from their campsite. The beach is open for year-round use, but is closed to vehicle use from June 1 to September 30 to enhance the safety of beach users in the summer months.

McKay’s Bend, which is jointly managed by the BLM and Idaho Fish and Game, is a developed recreation site located along the Clearwater River and Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail. This recreation site offers developed camping for RVs and tents, group facilities, a day use area, showers, flush toilets, and provides river access. Facilities Include: • 14 full hookup RV sites with water, electricity 50 AMP service, sewer, picnic tables, and fire rings • 2 large tent campsites with picnic tables and fire rings • Showers - 2 (only available to registered campground visitors) • Day use area with picnic tables and BBQ grills • Drinking water • Flush toilets - 2 • Parking area • NO RV dump station • Open year-round; first come, first served- no reservations can be made. • Dogs must be on a leash (6 feet or less) • Garbage disposal on site. Located in northern Idaho's beautiful Clearwater Valley, Dent acres Campground on Dworshak Lake is surrounded by forests and abundant wildlife. Dworshak Lake is 54 miles long, hosts kokanee salmon, rainbow trout and small mouth bass fishing. It has excellent boating, water skiing and hunting opportunities.
Dent Acres is an excellent location for boaters, fishermen, hunters, hikers, wildlife watching, as well as quiet relaxation. There is a boat ramp for access to the reservoir, multiple trails for hiking, and thousands of surrounding acres of public lands for the hunter.
Dent Acres features 49 pull through camping sites and one back-in only site. The campground can accommodate everything from tent camping to large RVs. All sites have water and 50/30 amp electricity hookups as well as sewage hookups, a fire pit and a covered picnic table. The campground offers flush toilets and a shower house. Adjacent to the campground is a playground and plenty of open space for activities. There are also flush toilet restrooms and a fish cleaning station located near the boat ramp. There are several large trash dumpsters near the boat dock. There is a large reservable sun shelter, which can accomodate up to 75 people. Pets are recquired to be under owner's physical control and on a 6 foot leash at all times. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 6am. Check in time is 3pm, Check out time is 1200 (noon).
