Great stop midway between Boise and Salt Lake. Campgrounds were really comfortable (and green). The springs/pool was surprisingly refreshing even tho 94 degrees on a hot day in July. Fun place, little historical landmark describing the Givens' trek westward on a covered wagon. If you are fussy…

Well maintained campground with a super friendly staff. Clean facility: showers (good water pressure) and bathrooms. Reasonably priced laundromat. We were escorted to our gravel pull through site # 6

Campground maintenance lacking TLC. Sites are generally dirt, pathways not maintained, open areas not mowed, showers are dirty and water is luke warm. Camp hosts are nice. We were going to stay 2 nights, but opted to move on after 1 night.
This is a fine place to stay if you’re in the area visiting friends, doing something, etc. This place is huge and 3/4’s of the spots are people who live here. Nice staff, clean park, etc.
Good site for rv camping but if you're tent camping there are probably better options depending on what you're looking for. The tent sites are super close together and there is alot of highway noise. If you're looking for a quick site with amenities this is good though. It has shade and thats a…
This campground is a little oasis on the Idaho-Oregon border close to I84. The owners take gre@t pride in maintaining this site. We stopped for a night while traveling through. We would definitely stay here again.
This is not the Hilton. Rough camping at best. Bathrooms are in rough shape.
Better for boaters or fishers. We got eaten alive. Hosts were really sweet. Spots were larger and there was hardly any campers mid week.
This place has beautiful green grass, next to the river. The bathroom and showers are very nice. It was a little loud next to the Homedale Airport and a lumber mill. The employees are super nice.
I was here alone with my two dogs during the heatwave of June 2021 (104°+). The dogs and I didn't leave the RV much due to the heat. But we were parked next to the pool, it's small and busy late afternoon early evening. The little dog park was nice although we only used it a couple times since…
We were only here as a stopping point for 1 night. We will be back and stay longer... the view were perfect. Fisherman were catching catfish hand over fist. Right there at camp of the docks they had c aught over 20 in 1 day!!! Fishing from the boats they caught 80 in 3 days!!!!
Nice little campground, just enough trees. Four pit toilets. Pads are asphalt. Most pads are flat. The road leading up to the campground is a single lane so hopefully you will not meet another truck and trailer coming down. There are small hand crank well pumps that smell like and taste like steel…
the state park, in eastern oregon. it is nice. been there twice. camp hosts lovely. a breeze blew in with a few sprinkles. some fish for catfish at night. i didn’t. maybe next time.
We stopped through on a trip to the Midwest, and needed a place to stay last minute. The camp host was incredibly friendly and allowed us to park in a non-designated spot since we were self-contained with our tent topper. I’m sure this was non-standard but was certainly appreciated.
This is a great campground right on the Boise River. There is a greenbelt that runs from. The campground all the way to Lucky Peak Reservoir, a distance of 19 miles.
