Little Gem Close to St Augustine

This is just a two year old gated campground. Fire pits, pull through (some with lake view) and back in sites. Gravel sites outlying level with full hook-ups 30/50 amp, sewer, water and satellite cable tv, grills and picnic tables. There is a rec room and small office that also sells firewood along with limited items. No swimming yet but you are able to drop a fishing line. It’s just 17-20 miles from Saint Augustine. I recommend giving it a try, very friendly and accommodating staff.

55 and over campground Snowbird haven !

Very clean, all sites are concrete and mostly level. A mix of 30 and 50 amp hookups with water and sewer as well. There are 2 swimming pools, one is designated for families traveling with children. There is a small lake for catch and release fishing. Shuffleboard, tennis, horseshoe, bocce ball, and pickle ball courts. There are a couple of community building, one for playing pool (4 tables) and a card room. Another building for larger community events. It is a dog friendly campground, dogs must always be on a leash and not left outside unattended. After a full COVID recovery more community events are being planned. About 85% of the campground are permanent residents. Short term camping in the front of the park with some pull through sites for the big rigs. Easy access off of US Hwy 1 Sebastian, Fl.

Very friendly and extremely nice camp ground.

Blend of residents and campers long and short term. Most pads are brick pavers with full hook ups. Daily, weekly, monthly and multiple months. They have air boat tours, guided fishing trips (bass). They have a Marina a camp store, food and beer garden with music playing. Playground for kids, A fun camp ground.

Best in Georgia

Top notch camping, easy access from I-75 almost all sites are pull through. Nice store at the office. We experienced a break down and we’re not able to make our reservation, the gave us a credit tone used at another date, and we used it 3 days later.

First camping trip 2020

This was our first camping trip after purchasing a new to us fifth wheel camper. We chose the Cardinal Camping Center because it was only 15 miles from our home. We arrived on Thursday afternoon registered and set up at our site. Staff was very friendly and helpful, we shared some fresh veggies from our garden as we had way too much for just us and asked the welcome center to tell people to help themselves to what ever they wanted. we then toured the campgroundand found the stocked fishing lake (catch and release) the indoor swimming pool. The camp also has some very nice cabins, no restrooms in the cabin but they are very close to the public restrooms and shower house. We then went over to the shooting center and tried our luck with some silliolet and metal targets on the pistol range. Thy also have trap and skeet available.

Our site had ful hook-ups 50 amp service with sewer and water picnic table and fire ring for $44 a night. All of the people next to us were very nice and everyone respected each other's sites.

I would go back to this campground again, we even extended our stay an extra day because we had such a good time.
