We came out for a quick getaway as this is only about an hour from home. The place was dead, but still amazing. Everything was open, and we had most of the resort to ourselves. The staff was great. Pool was fun. Food and drinks reasonable. They have lots of activities, and the kids really enjoyed the scavenger hunt. The tiki bar was such a cool setting. We can’t wait to come back when it cools a little more.
We're beyond excited for the grand opening of Palm Breeze Luxury RV Resort and have already booked our stay for 2025! The amazing amenities, combined with the family-friendly and pet-friendly atmosphere, make it the perfect getaway for everyone. The reservations team was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the new management company is doing a fantastic job. We can't wait to experience everything this resort has to offer!
Love this place. Love the woods , always see critters along the creek. Campsites are clean and bathhouse is cleaned daily. Great hiking, fishing, bird watching or just chillaxin. Staff is always helpful. Been here many times and will definitely be back!
Excellent park for hiking, kayak, and fishing. Beautifully preserved wildlife and well maintained facilities eoth friendly.
Very nice park, staff very friendly, price very good for June. Everything you want or need is right here. Marinas and guides are close along with Walmart, restaurants. Wifi is provided if needed, Verizon coverage is 5 bars.
Great location for fishing the lake. Well maintained facilities and friendly staff.
Friendly staff and residents. Nice area along the creek. Well maintained.
Friendly environment, secluded nice little spot for fishing. Highly recommend.
We had a great time at this private camp spot in their GlamPing tent . We fished all day right from our site and took advantage of the extra rentals they had , kayaks and outdoor movie. Will def be back again to stay in the converted bus!
Tons to do on property including little stores, bbq restaurant, pizza, ice cream etc. Horseback riding, petting zoo, rock climbing. BUT, my only complaint is the noise level of the area. Lots of boat noise, gas golf carts (big property) & it just happened that my neighbors loved their gas blowers & pressure washing lol. Lots of great sites to choose from. Nice staff. Pet friendly.
KOA Moore Haven : Not my cup of tea, however looked clean and maybe appealing if I had a large RV. I would first research what of interest the area offers.
(Scale 1- bad, 5-Very good

One of the finer older campgrounds in Florida, peaceful and serene. Located on the rim canal of Lake Okeechobee, we stayed for two nights to go to the Hendry County Speedway for dirt track racing and basically caught a Bass every time we cast a line. The only reason I did not rate them a 5 was due to the shower facility, it’s in need of a renovation. friendly staff and a quiet fishing atmosphere. We will stay there again!!!
Owned by a nice old lady named Mary Ann.its been in her family for 40 years. she lives on site. property has a dock and a boat ramp. The campers have plenty of space apart from one another. The rates are affordable. Very nice neighbors. I have the trailer slot directly on the water very nice view. Pet friendly and kid friendly. Not too far from town.
I have been quoted in excess of $140 a night as a minimum for the small shed cabins and today was the last time I even gander out this way at their prices. Drove through couple months ago and this place is simply overpriced non-accessibility
A new casino is being built beginning Summer 2023 with expected completion in 2025. We were told the majority of the campsites and cabins will house the construction workers for the casino project.
PROS
Prearrival text regarding checkin and checkin documents left at campground sign, but it had rained and documents were unreadable
Deon was very helpful upon arrival
Security code for bathhouse entry
Over 65 and veteran discount
Site 312 concrete pad level
Site 312 paver patio surrounded by sand and weeds, but most sites had manicured grass.
Nicely spaced sites.
Very clean bathhouse during the week.
5 washers and 5 dryers at $2 each in Park laundromat. Office sells quarters.
Quiet.
Saw Seminole police patrolling frequently
TMobile 4 bars.
Park had WIFI but we did not connect.
CONS
No security gate so LOTS of drive-bys
30amp breaker overheated and tripped 3 times during our 7 night stay
Site 312 absolutely no shade
Not permitted to select site online when making reservations
Absolutely no bathhouse cleaning Saturday and Sunday so by Sunday evening it was pretty nasty
Price increase 8/1/22 that we had to pay even tho we made reservations during March 2022
Need to bring-your-own fire ring, but wasn't informed of this requirement until we arrived
No picnic table at site upon arrival. Notified camp office who advised one would be provided first thing next morning by park maintenance.
Day 2. No table. Stopped by camp office right before noon and reported no table delivered to site. Then the excuses started from Jodi, the park manager…only one maintenance man…picnic tables are disappearing overnight and that’s a problem…now have 3 sites that need a picnic table…staff believes other campers see a unoccupied site and drag table to their site…there were 63 tables when the season started… No mention of when picnic table will be delivered to site. We offered to help get it. Told maintenance man is working on it.
Day 3. No table.
Day 4. Stopped by office at 9am for an update on when to expect a table. Spoke with Jodi again. She had no update. Same excuses as I heard on Day 2 but she did mention that NEXT YEAR she was going to need to anchor the tables at each site so they don’t disappear. I mentioned seeing 4 tables at the firepit area. She said we are welcomed to take a table from the community firepit area and move it to our campsite but those are needing replacement boards badly(her words).
Never got a table. Just too heavy for us to drag one from the firepit area to our site, which was a bit more than a half block and the maintenance man never delivered one.
We were blown away with the hospitality, great staff, very clean site even our dog Rascal enjoyed it. Huge swimming pool screened in, so much to see and do here….put them on your list, we are definitely going back… soon
We spent the winter here after usually being near the beach. It was a fun place to be to experience a different ambience. The city of LaBelle has winter events like their Swamp Cabbage Festival and parade. They have a nice rodeo grounds with impressive events. The RV park itself has tons of activities and pickle ball courts etc. Owners friendly. We don’t have a pet, but everyone seems careful with their dogs. It’s a very seasonal park and pretty new. They just finished a second new laundry and showers building this 2023 year. Very fair prices. But must have a less-than-ten-year-old rig.
We are staying here for 2 weeks. This is our first visit. To be fair, they are still recovering from hurricane Ian. Some of the sites are very nice and well kept and others look like they have very long term residents who don’t clean up after themselves very well.
If you want something in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do, please go here. They have some nice sites and some beautiful vistas but, they have LOTS of problems. If you need to be in South Florida and can't find another site, this works as a campground of last resort but, it's LAST resort which is how we ended up there for 2 months.
The staff TRIES but, there is little support to keeping the place up-kept. Staff keeps abandoning and leaving the place for brighter pastures even skipping out without notice due to the retribution of management.
This team owns and manages several KOA in south Florida and this location needs to lose it's KOA affiliation due to lack of amenities.
On the positive side, when we thought we wouldn't fit in our next stop at Everglades National Park, they bent over backwards to make sure we didn't have to move our site. Our campsite was huge but, we could not put up our tent, screen room or EZ-UP.
Most campers were looking to leave while we were there this winter.
Peace River is a very large campground. Nearly half is still unusable after Ian. The sites that are open are spacious. There are many trees so many roots in the campsites. Our site was very level with a concrete patio. Except for the traffic nearby it is a very quiet campground. We had many perfect nights sleeping here. Although we were here in March there seemed to be many available sites and many campers moving in and out.
Great spot to winter, but they are only taking annual campers. We only want 3 months so we are moving next year. But it is a wonderful community with a very active group.
This campground is the worse. Please go to Trip Advisor for the full review. Don’t book this campground before you read the review.
I have been coming here every year for the last 5 years for an annual trip. This place is great with nice trails and fishing . Bathrooms always are a bit dirty and get messy at the end of a weekend but otherwise a great spot .
Ashley here from The Dyrt! We’re excited to have this new partner online. They’ve been in business for decades. Check them out and leave them some love!
The campsite was nice. The dog park was nice. The pool was nice but had ALOT of frogs that didn’t make it… I was told there was a turtle found once so look before you enter, they do clean it very often though! Very close to Walmart! I even had a package delivered here!
We have camped on both the lake and the river. They are both a different experience and both nice. If I had to choose I would say the lake is a little bit more quaint.
You can rent canoes, fish, and our favorite - have a fire on the beach.
It definitely has southern charm. The people running it are very down to earth and hospitable.
I'm in town doing hurricane rebuild, pioneer village is accommodating, a lot of long-term residents, nice pool nice staff nice residence but not five star resort,
