Campsites are available first-come, first-serve for camping reservations online to licensed (or exempt), quota permitted hunters 2 weeks prior and during hunt dates for the Arbuckle and Walk-in-the-Water WMA in 2020-2021.

The Florida Forest Service will close all campgrounds and recreation areas on State Forests if the county where the State Forest is located is placed under a Tropical Storm or Hurricane WARNING by the National Weather Service. Reservations will be automatically refunded for closures related to tropical weather.
Description
Livingston Creek Campground is located on the Lake Wales Ridge State Forest, (Polk County) on the Arbuckle tract, approximately 44 miles SE of Lakeland, FL. This hunt camp location features 7 campsites that are all reserveable. Each campsite has a picnic table and fire ring. These sites have potable water access but no electricity available. There are two port-o-lets on site within the hunt camp for use. Recreation activities featured here include fishing, hunting, scouting, hiking, bicycling, picnicking, horseback riding, hunting and wildlife viewing.

- RV/Tent camping at 10 campsites during hunting season only. All Sites require advanced reservation for camping on site. Potable water is accessible. See campground rules in kiosk on site for information.
- RV/Camper trailer size limit - Class B or Class C only, maximum of 32 ft length.
- Pads are 12 ft wide by 60 ft long.
- No Class A RV/Campers permitted.
- Quiet Hours are 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Use "Leave No Trace" Principles - Plan Ahead and Prepare, Dispose of trash and litter properly-keep campsites clean, Minimize Campfire impacts-Clean fire ring after use, Respect Wildlife and Be Considerate of Other Visitors
- Off Highway Vehicles (OHVs) and other unlicensed vehicles are not allowed on the forest.
- CAUTION: Bears/Raccoons/Etc. frequent the area. Please store food appropriately for safety.
- Fires are permitted only in the fire rings and grills.
- Drive only on designated roads on the state forest.

Directions
From US highway 27 you will: Turn left onto County Road 630A, at stop sign turn to the left onto County Road 630 East. Proceed east through Frostproof, past the McDonald's, over the railroad tracks, then right onto Lake Reedy Blvd where the Lake Arbuckle Campground and the Great Florida Birding Trail signs are. Follow Lake Reedy Blvd, about one mile after the blinking yellow light you will turn left onto Lake Arbuckle Rd. Turn right onto Rucks Dairy Rd (a paved road). You are now on the state forest. After driving about a mile down Rucks Dairy Rd you will go over the bridge over Livingston Creek. \*The road splits here, Keep Right continue on Rucks Dairy Rd. Livingston Creek Campground is on the right. Reedy Creek Primitive Campground is on the left. (If you take the road to the left at the split you will be on School Bus Rd. which is the main road in the Arbuckle Tract.) From SR 60 you will: Turn right onto County Road 630 East Proceed west on County Road 630 East until reaching Walk In Water Road/Blue Jordan Road, then turn left After turning left onto Blue Jordan Road, proceed to stop light and turn left onto Lake Reedy Blvd Follow Lake Reedy Blvd, about one mile after the blinking yellow light you will turn left onto Lake Arbuckle Rd. Turn right onto Rucks Dairy Rd (a paved road). You are now on the state forest. After driving about a mile down Rucks Dairy Rd you will go over the bridge over Livingston Creek.
