Saracen Trace RV Park - Pine Bluff Regional Park

    Moments From Historic Pine Bluff

Just on the opposite side of the highway from historic Pine Bluff and within the same area as their Nature and Conservation area this reasonably priced camp is pretty nice with water front views.

The only downside no tents!! It really is ashes because the views here are some of the best I found in Pine Bluff of the river.

This is a Good Sam campground and thus meets a certain type of amenities. Had they accepted tents it would have been a much higher rating (probably a 4)

Fresh Water, Dump Station and 20 amp hook ups available.

Saracen Trace RV Park - Pine Bluff Regional Park

    city rv park

It is a lovely, well-kept park. Lots of wildlife-squirrels everywhere. It's $20 per night. Water and electricity available but no sewer although there is a dump station. There is no bathroom or bathhouse, however. It's located at the back of Regional Park. Close enough to Pine Bluff yet far enough away to enjoy nature and silence.

    Little Rock North KOA

Only 1 Tent Site on the property !

It was great. I have the only tent site they offer. It’s away from the RV area. The couple that runs the KOA are super friendly. There is a pool but not open for some reason. Small dog park. Camp store. Clean. And an ice cream shop! The only drawback is it’s close to the freeway and you can hear a LOT of traffic.

    Pendleton Bend

    Nice people, basic facilities

I stopped here for one night with a travel trailer and was in site B-01 for $16. The sites are spacious. For example, the water hookups are half way between the sites to be shared, and my 50ft hose just barely could reach. It is pet friendly and we had fun sitting on a dock and watching the cargo boats. There is absolutely no cell phone signal and no WiFi, so have physical directions on you. The park is only a couple miles from Arkansas Post National Memorial which was very beautiful and worth a visit.

    Downtown Riverside RV Park

    Unique RV Experience

At first entrance it appears as if you are entering a large parking lot. There is a large pavilion to picnic and pet area by the water. Each site requires a 50 amp but the office will offer one for purchase if you need a 50 to 30 amp connections. The center lot is for pull through sites the other site areas non-pull through by water and fence. The fence area is close to the bridge but could be limited with views since it is far away from the water and Class A frequent area.

    Two things I love:

    1. The unique downtown riverside views
    2. The ease of getting to this RV park even though it is downtown Little Rock.

    Maumelle Park

Great COE campground near Little Rock

Stayed 6 nights at Maumelle COE campground next to Arkansas River. Nice and quiet especially after the weekend crowd left. Nice walking trails and still close to major conveniences. We stayed in site E7 which was great for our needs with good privacy.

    Maumelle Park

    Love the campground !

Traveling through Arkansas and landed at this beautiful park! Spacious sites and beautiful area! Tried to get a water site but they were full. But after arriving we realized that there really aren’t any bad sites. We stayed in B14 and had lots of room and the area was great. Great place for dog walking and even a trail to take her on. Our Labrador loved it here too. Many picnic areas as well as a concrete picnic table at each site. Lots of trees and shade. Very relaxing and peaceful. Would love to come back!

    Downtown Riverside RV Park

    Great location

The location is truly excellent with easy access to the Arkansas River Trail, the Clinton library, restaurants and other attractions. Although, there is construction along the river front and around the RV park. There’s really no atmosphere, so stay here if you want great access to Little Rock!

COE Arkansas River Merrisach Lake Park

    Nice Corp park

Good, clean campground. Family friendly. Great fishing. Merrisack Lake joins the ship canal to the Arkansas River. Fabled White River National Wildlife Refuge, America’s first national refuge, close by.

The region features lowland forests with an average elevation of 220 feet and high humidity during summer months when temperatures regularly exceed 90°F. Mosquitoes are prevalent near water during warmer seasons, particularly at sites along the river navigation system.

What to do

**Fishing access: Take advantage of riverfront spots at Tar Camp where you can watch commercial traffic on the water. "Great site on the river. So happy to find a site right on the river. We could watch the tug boats with their barges go by," reports Angela G.

**Wildlife viewing: Visit Cane Creek State Park Campground during different seasons for varied wildlife sightings. "I have seen ducks, deer armadillos and eagles live here as well," notes Joseph B., highlighting the natural wildlife diversity in south Arkansas.

**Kayaking: Rent boats at Cane Creek State Park for water exploration. "They have all kinds of boat rentals here including some with motors. The camp sites have trees and shade, water right next to your tent," explains Kim B.

What campers like

**Private bathroom facilities: Many campers appreciate the individual facilities at Rising Star campground. "BATHROOM/SHOWER COMBO FOR 1 PERSON OR FAMILY!!! We will be back for sure!!" exclaims Stacy H.

**Spacious sites: Campsites at Willow Beach provide room between neighbors. "Willow Beach is small, remote, and quiet. Situated between the Arkansas River and Willow Lake, every site is waterfront. Sites were close but in good repair," notes Jeff R.

**Waterfront views: Many campgrounds offer direct river access and water views. "Beautiful campsite along the Arkansas River. The sites are all very spacious with very long back in driveways. Some of the sites had covered picnic tables, which was great," states Kelly E. about Willow Beach.

What you should know

**Seasonal closures: Some campgrounds have limited operating seasons or close due to flooding. About Tar Camp, Steve S. reports: "Was a great park at one time with a boat ramp and bathrooms. Nice spot to camp with plenty of wildlife. Hope they reopen soon. WAS INFORMED 11-1-2020 That they will be opening March of 2021."

**Insect protection: Bring appropriate repellents, especially during summer. "It is near water so there are a lot of mosquitos, so come prepared," warns one Willow Beach visitor.

**Wildlife precautions: Be aware of local wildlife when exploring with pets. "Nice day use area and playground but watch for snakes," cautions Steve S. about Rising Star campground.

Tips for camping with families

**Playground access: Maumelle Park offers family-friendly amenities within easy reach of Pine Bluff. "It's a beautiful park by the AR River with lovely grounds to walk or bike. Tips from RVers

**Hookup reliability: Check electricity capacity before setting up. "Our neighbors had issues with their electricity because they were trying to run an air fryer, and it kept throwing the breaker. We ran our box fan without any issues," shares Lacee G. about her stay at Cane Creek.

**Urban camping options: Consider Downtown Riverside RV Park for easy access to urban amenities. "It's nothing fancy but you can take a walking bridge across the river directly into downtown Little Rock," explains Richard S.

**Level sites: Most campgrounds near Pine Bluff offer relatively level parking. "The sites were level. We did have several fire ant hills that we had to deal with and quite a few red wasps," reports one Cane Creek visitor, highlighting the importance of checking your site upon arrival.
