    Williams-Circle Pines KOA

Great KOA with lot's of Amenities

This KOA is very clean and has ton's of amenities on site, very nice showers and bathrooms, some of the amenities are mini golf, pan for gems, trails, go karts, peddle cars, playground, laundry room, store, small arcade, just to name a few, not all the amenities are free. Close to Williams,AZ one exit away, also close to Bearizona, Grand Canyon, Deer farm. They have everything from campsites that are primitive to a full group cabin to rent and everything in between.

During our stay we rented a 4 person cabin, while other family members that we were there to camp with had a pull thru spot for there 5th wheel.

Our cabin has a queen size bed and a bunk bed, the room had a TV, picnic table. fire pit, swinging porch bench, and a heater, the rest rooms where a quick minute walk away.

    A must-stop when weary!

We were super tired on our trip and happen to come across this cute TeePee at the site. We stopped and got one of their cozy little cabins, which had everything that we needed. There was a full size bed, a bunk bed, a desk and chair, a cute little porch swing, a fire pit, a water spigot and inside the cabin they also had air conditioning and a couple heaters. All we did was grab our sleeping bags and throw them on the bed. The cabin had outlets, so we grabbed our portable charger and fridge and we settled right in! The compound itself has a laundromat, a pool, a space for your dog to play and stretch out, a playground for the kids and a really great store that is pretty well stocked with just about anything that you could need. The staff was awesome!

    Grand Canyon-Williams KOA

KOA is always a solid choice...

Stayed in one of the cabins here with kids. Was well maintained, but overall quite dusty. KOAs are nothing if not predictable. Twin Bunk Beds, one queen bed, bare light bulb, front porch. There were RV sites as well.

Great jumping off point to get to Grand Canyon as it is a little bit North out of the town of Williams. Also easy to get to Williams to have dinner, etc...

    Grand Canyon-Williams KOA

Great Basecamp for Grand Canyon Exploration

Even though we had been camping on this road trip and had our gear in the car, we elected to stay in one of the camping cabins at the Williams KOA and it was quite a treat. Even in the late summer, it can get cool in the evening, so we were thankful for the extra shelter. After dinner by the campfire ring, we went to bed and awoke the next morning to take the little Williams train into the South Rim where we hiked for a couple of miles with our 4-year-old. She did surprisingly well, and it ended being a great little short stay at the GC.

    Seligman-Route 66 KOA

    Best priced KOA around

This KOA is a few minutes drive into famous Seligman, AZ which was the town on route 66 that inspired the Disney Movie CARS, and you can see that everywhere in the town. The town has lot's of tourist type shopping, great places to eat like Roadkill Cafe, and west side Lido's, as well as a neat Thrift store, I always visit. There's not much in the area, but a 20 minute drive west on route 66 will get you to the Grand Canyon Caverns, my review of their campground can be found on the Dyrt site.

This KOA we tent camped at, our site was on a grassy area, with gravel car parking for one car. We had an electrical outlet but didn't use it. The site was well shaded with trees and had a fire ring, about a 2 minute walk to the restrooms and showers. on site they have a store and a pool. It's a small KOA but to camp with our tent was under $25 a night. We happened to camp during monsoon season and had some very awesome lighting storms from far away to watch..

We plan to camp here again, the owners were vert helpful and super friendly, the only issues was a train run all night pretty close to the campground, but I found the noise very calming and there were a lot of bugs in the restroom at night, but again it's camping, so I understood.

    Williams-Circle Pines KOA

    Nice but crowded

Its a large KOA right off the highway. Nice facility, with bathrooms, showers, a store, and more. We’ve stayed here twice. Once in a tent and once in a cabin. They offer nicer cabins that’s almost it’s own little house with your own bathroom and kitchen. We stayed in a basic cabin with only beds and a heater. But it was enough for what we wanted. Camp sites are close to each other a long with the cabins. It’s a nice facility to stay at that’s on alternative to a hotel however you don’t get that camping feel with all the people being packed in one area. While staying here we visited our beloved Bearizona, and downtown Williams. Some of our favorite things to do in AZ. If you really want a camping feel, then I would not recommend however if you want a nice alternative to a hotel and to enjoy the outdoors this is your spot.

    Seligman-Route 66 KOA

    A little sketchy..

I’m not a fan of KOA unless I am in a pinch for the night and don’t feel the area is good for boondocking. This place is just on the edge of my comfort zone for a KOA. The energy here isn’t quite right. I didn’t talk to any staff with a after hours check in and took off early. It was a parking spot for the night. I didn’t use any hookups, but there’s no privacy between sites at all. It’s an empty field with picnic tables. I didn’t use the amenities because showers were $10. A train is notably close to the campground. No wifi...

Guide to Seligman

Cabins near Seligman, Arizona offer an alternative to traditional tent camping in this high-desert region at approximately 5,200 feet elevation. The area experiences significant temperature fluctuations, with summer highs averaging in the 90s and winter lows frequently dropping below freezing. Most cabin accommodations remain open year-round, though some facilities limit operation between November and March.

What to do

Train watching nearby lodging: The Seligman-Route 66 KOA offers cabin guests a unique opportunity to watch freight trains passing by regularly. One visitor noted, "There is a pool and decent bathrooms and showers. The lady at the front desk was so great. I wish I would have gotten her name. She was very helpful. When you stay you get a cute little keychain that says 'I survived a night of 1000 trains'."

Williams historic district access: Cabin rentals at Williams-Circle Pines KOA provide easy access to downtown Williams, located just 10 minutes away. "Town of Williams is a tourist adventure and Bearzona is a Blast!! 🎣🐻🦉🌲" explains one camper. Several historic buildings and Route 66 attractions are within walking distance of downtown.

Indoor recreation options: Winter visitors can take advantage of indoor facilities at cabin sites. "Showers are hot. The tent sites are more out in the open than I'd prefer, and you see and hear the freeway from your site. There's a pool, mini golf, gaga ball court, giant pillow, and go karts which were great entertainment for the kids during fire restrictions," shares one family who stayed at Williams-Circle Pines KOA.

What campers like

Quiet off-grid experience: The Beautiful Log Cabin in Northern Arizona: The Perfect Retreat provides complete seclusion on 47 acres of land. A visitor commented, "This is the perfect place to unplug and recharge! Situated off-grid on 47 acres, this is the perfect place to unplug and recharge!"

Varied cabin types: Cabins near Seligman range from basic to deluxe accommodations. A guest at Williams-Circle Pines KOA reported, "We've stayed here twice. Once in a tent and once in a cabin. They offer nicer cabins that's almost it's own little house with your own bathroom and kitchen. We stayed in a basic cabin with only beds and a heater. But it was enough for what we wanted."

Convenient Grand Canyon access: Cabins provide a staging point for Grand Canyon visits without national park lodging prices. The Canyon Motel & RV Park in Williams offers this benefit. "RV park was clean and near the train station. Train goes right by the RV park. You can also purchase train tickets to the Grand Canyon through them when you book your stay. Train station is about 5 min away," explains one reviewer.

What you should know

Limited winter operations: While some cabins remain open year-round, amenities may be reduced during colder months. A visitor to Seligman-Route 66 KOA observed, "pool is empty and no jacuzzi. I would stay again."

Proximity to transportation corridors: Many cabin locations sit near highways or rail lines, creating potential noise issues. A camper noted about Grand Canyon-Williams KOA, "The only downside is the noise from the highway. Oh, cell service is not good. You'll have to rely on their Wi-Fi."

Weather preparedness essential: Temperature extremes require proper planning. A November visitor advised, "It was a smaller KOA camp than most. But there were only a few people there in the middle of November, which made it nice for feeling "away" from the world and not having to wait for bathrooms. Any where that's not inside is great, but it was more of a high desert terrain than woodlands like I was hoping. They provide a small heater for the cabins, so if you go during the winter season be sure to bring warm clothes and warm blankets!"

Tips for camping with families

Recreational options: Many cabin sites offer dedicated children's activities. A family at Williams-Circle Pines KOA shared, "We have camped here many times and always have a great experience! This campground is super family friendly with a park, jumping pillow, small train ride, crafts, movie nights, a pool and more!"

Proximity to wildlife attractions: Cabin stays provide convenient access to family-friendly wildlife experiences. "We've stayed here twice. Once in a tent and once in a cabin. Camp sites are close to each other a long with the cabins. It's a nice facility to stay at that's on alternative to a hotel however you don't get that camping feel with all the people being packed in one area. While staying here we visited our beloved Bearizona, and downtown Williams. Some of our favorite things to do in AZ."

Supply accessibility: Cabin locations maintain stores for essential items. One camper at Seligman-Route 66 KOA reported, "This KOA is a few minutes drive into famous Seligman, AZ which was the town on route 66 that inspired the Disney Movie CARS, and you can see that everywhere in the town. The town has lot's of tourist type shopping, great places to eat like Roadkill Cafe, and west side Lido's, as well as a neat Thrift store, I always visit."

Tips from RVers

Storage considerations: Limited space in cabins requires thoughtful packing. A guest at Camp South Rim explained, "This property offer 360 scenic views of the desert landscape. Evening brings stars so bright that your host says 'you'll want to reach out to grab them'."

Site positioning matters: Cabins may have varying views and accessibility based on location within campgrounds. A camper at Canyon Motel & RV Park advised, "We went looking for a spot that could house out 29' TT, a tent, and a motel room for a family get together over Father's Day. This place delivered! The staff was friendly, the facilities were well kept up, and the area is awesome. The site (#16) was level for my camper, but the camping area was not so be prepared for a slant when sitting around enjoying each other's company."

Heat relief: Summer visitors often choose cabin stays for cooling options. An August visitor to Canyon Motel & RV Park shared, "We came here to beat the southern Arizona heat and found a great place to stay. Cute town. Close to grand canyon. Good price. Wifi great.
