Fishing and lakeside access draw campers to Christmas Tree Lake, a tribal-managed campground set within Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest in eastern Arizona. The site sits near both a lake and a river, giving anglers and paddlers direct access to water. Fees run $18 per night, though some sites may be free. Toilets are on-site, campfires are permitted, and pets are welcome. Hawley Lake Apache Indian Res provides another water-adjacent option roughly 5 miles north for campers weighing alternatives in the area.
