This was perfect. Very rustic campground. I was actually the only one here this weekend. Only noise is from the wind turbine in the middle of the lake. It has lots of fish but I was a little late in the season to catch too much. Saw lots of good trout swimming by the bank. Bonus of this campground…

Trout stocked lake
Campground is pretty typical of the national forest type. Which translates to “really great!”love this woodsy spot in the Wisconsin north woods. Great little fishing lake too with stocked trout.

Quiet with beautiful sunsets on a small lake
What a wonderful place to relax! Some sites by the lake have good views but all are nice. Sites on the forest side had longer grass. A pump house is a source for fresh drinking water. Two vault toilets are really clean and surprisingly bug free.

Directions
From Park Falls, travel east on State Highway 182 for about 13 miles. Turn right on Forest Road 144, and after approximately five miles turn left on Forest Road 142. Continue for two miles to the campground entrance.
