Wonderful city park

I stayed two nights. The city park has private restrooms. Check in with the park host and he will provide you the code to access the restrooms/showers. The park has 13 rv sites with 30/50amp and water, four tent sites. Fishing pond, two baseball fields, basket ball court, playground, disk golf, and aquatic center/swimming pool. Little town has a lot to offer. Great place to camp

Free dispersed camping

I stayed four nights. I would have stayed longer but ran out of water. There isn't any potable water on site. During a hot day, I took my two dogs and we hiked to a nearby river. We cooled off and enjoyed the peace and quite. The only downside is no potable water and lots of mesquites.

Cramped

Circular campground. Campsites are very close and narrow. If you are in an RV, levelers are a must. Clean bathrooms, but no showers. Potable water spigot at bathrooms. The lake is rather a large pond. No ATT service. Town of Hot Springs is only 12 minutes away. Nice little town. This campground makes for a great Basecamp.

Great for overnight parking

Google maps will lead you right to the area. It's next to a busy road. Nebraska 20, Bridges to Buttes Byway. Enough parking for several rigs if parked close. I was the only rig there on a Thursday. It's only a few miles from a Super Walmart and a Safeway, in Chadron.
