Where forest roads wind through the Colville National Forest, Lake Thomas Campground operates seasonally from Memorial Day through Labor Day under US Forest Service management. The campground sits near its namesake lake, with some sites providing direct trail access to the water's edge.
Campers find a mix of site sizes here, from smaller spots to larger areas that accommodate groups. Basic amenities include toilets, picnic tables, and trash service, though pets are not permitted. Wildlife sightings are common, with visitors reporting deer, moose, birds, and rabbits in the area. The lake provides fishing opportunities for those who bring gear.
