SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Creek-side camping draws visitors to Blue Spruce, where a seasonal water source flows near forested and open terrain within Dixie National Forest. The US Forest Service operates this established campground from late May through early September, providing drinking water and toilet facilities for guests. RVs are limited to 18 feet maximum length due to site constraints.

The rough access road requires careful navigation, particularly for larger rigs approaching the length limit. Campers can explore nearby Posy Lake Campground for additional forest camping options. Reserve early for peak summer months when this creek-adjacent location fills quickly.

You always come back.

Blue Spruce Campground is literally the most quiet, shady and clean campground to find. It sits in the middle of huge pine trees and is so beautiful with a creek that runs through it. There are bear cabinets to put your stuff in with a picnic table and a big fire pit with grill top. We go there every year in June. The evenings are definitely cool. Sometimes if it's a big winter we don't get there until almost July.. We have never had any other campers with us. They are large spots and very private. It is very secluded and star gazing is definitely a nightly fun time to watch. It's like you can touch the stars. It is always clear skies and such fresh air. I would recommend this spot highly. It is worth the drive up there. We came in off Hells Backbone which is a scenic drive you must experience.

SiteThe second one in is our favorite. Deep and backs right in to the creek
