Lake views are the best

Stayed for 5 days on a lakeside site- it was beautiful, mostly clean (goose droppings), and pretty spacious! Still a new campground next to an established marina. Some construction is still going. They are adding more sites and a small pool to the existing amenities like a beach, a hammock pergola,…

Beautiful Lakeview!

Cedar point campground it's a little interesting getting to it but it is beautiful once you get there. There are 10 campsites that are lakeside six of those having 50 amps. The sites are pulled through with electric and water there is a dump station provided.

This campground is in tellico plains

I went to visit this campground today. So I called the number and this campground is actually in tellico plains Tennessee. There is no campground at this location. So please please do not make the trip out there.

Packed in like sardines

We like state parks because they offer lots to do and sites are usually a little spread out. That is not the case there! These sites are packed in like sardines!! We were lucky to have a site that backed up to the creek, so that made the stay a little more enjoyable. We are at the lodge for dinner…

Amazing camp grounds!

We camped in the RV area. It was clean and well cared for, close to the water and a very clean shower house. We are definitely going to be coming back!

It's Freeeeeeeeee!

It's Free! It's opened up now and it's free! And nicer than I expected. All the sites are paved with large fire rings and picnic tables. Trash cans are pretty much everywhere. There are back in and pull through sites. Most of the sites aren't very level so plan for that. There are bathrooms down…

Convenient w/ FHU

Ethridge, TN…Nov. 26, 2016 Heritage Campground is in a small Amish community. Several antique shops and flea markets here. Plan on taking a buggy ride to tour the place. No restaurant here (in 2016, may be now). Had to drive about 5 miles for some really good brisket.

Closest access to Nashville attractions

Overall this is a good campground. It is right on the lake and probably the best access to downtown Nashville and other attractions. It is part of a water park which was closed when we were there, which might change things. Sites are spaced out well and easy to access. WiFi and cell were both…

Beautiful

This was our first stay here, and we had heard great things about it. It is a beautiful state park known as the"Queen of Tennessee's State Parks". There are 4,000 acres with mountain biking, fishing, hiking, picnic areas, kayaking/canoeing, and a golf course. Nashville is only 45 minutes away. The…

One of our favorites!

We’ve been tent camping for years and try to find places somewhat close to home because we bring our bulldogs with us. This campground is absolutely one of our favorites.

It is relatively small, but the bathhouses are super clean, and the staff are amazing. I’m hesitant to let our secret out, but…

Great rest stop along the Natchez Trace

One of three first come first serve free camps on the Trace. Potable water and flush toilets, fire rings and tables, pull through and back in sites. There’s relative privacy, though that’s largely dependent on seasonal deciduous canopy. The campground sits next to a creek cascade and some hiking…

Not bad, but a little tight

Our family had fun on this trip, but I have to say that most of the sites were VERY close together. We just happened to get lucky with what seemed to be the only site with lots of space. I believe it was site 93.

Beautiful park!

We were not very impressed with the park when we first drove in to our campsite. The roads were not in the best condition, the sites were very close together, and the bathrooms were not very clean. But after two nights here, we really fell in love with the park and all it has to offer!

Though…

Stayed one night

Well I planned to stayed for two weeks, but only stayed one night. Main reason could not get a signal. Next when looking for a site more than a few were trashed. Not just a little bit someone just didn't care. I would think the park would do some cleaning, but did not seem like it. The 3 stars are…
