Three Lakes Sno-Park

A large paved parking lot serves as overnight accommodation at this Oregon sno-park, located about 30 minutes from Crater Lake's north entrance. The facility operates as a rest area during summer months, providing vault toilets and space for boondocking RVs and vehicles. Reed G. noted five different campers staying here, with some returning multiple times.

The location offers quiet conditions and easy highway access, making it a practical base for exploring Crater Lake without dealing with main entrance traffic lines. Pets are welcome at the site. Campers seeking more traditional amenities might consider Broken Arrow Campground for a different experience.

Great overnight stay

All of Oregon’s Sno-Parks are rest areas during the summer months. This one is a huge parking lot, with vault toilets. There were 5 different folks boondocking here. I think a couple had come back a couple times. It’s about 30 minutes to Crater Lake north/west entrance, which allowed us to bypass the long line of cars at the main entrance. This sno-park was very quiet, felt very safe. I’d stay there again.
