Millpond Recreation Site

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Swimming in the North Umpqua River draws campers to Millpond Recreation Site, a BLM-managed campground in Idleyld Park, Oregon, open from May 15 through October 5. The river runs cool and accessible directly from camp, and the surrounding forest gives access to hiking nearby. The site stays clean and the field area is maintained. Rough road access is worth noting before arrival. At $14 per night with toilets, trash service, and a dump station on-site, reservations are available and worth securing for summer weekends. Those exploring camping near Idleyld Park will find Rock Creek just over a mile northeast.
