Find and camp at one of 22 designated campsites marked with a post. Camp within 15 feet, slope distance of a post designating an approved campsite. 36CFR261.58e
If all designated campsites are occupied you must leave the Green Lakes Management Area to find a camp.
**Fires are prohibited above 5700' which includes the Green Lakes Basin and surrounding area. 36CFR261.52a • Dogs must be kept on leash between July 15th and September 15th. 36CFR261.58s • Toilets and garbage service are not provided. Bury human waste in a 8 inch deep cat hole located at least 200 feet (74 adult steps) from any water or trail. 36CFR261.11b
