Boating and fishing draw most visitors to Guy Sandy Campground, one of the more active launch points along Lake of the Arbuckles within Chickasaw National Recreation Area. Boat trailers line the area during busy periods, and daytime noise from watercraft on the lake is common at sites closest to the water. No pets are allowed. Sites are first-come, first-served, include picnic tables and fire rings, and tree cover provides shade across much of the campground. Vault toilets and water spigots are on-site. Campers wanting a quieter or more reservable setup may find The Point Campground — Chickasaw National Recreation Area worth considering, and there are additional campgrounds near Chickasaw National Recreation Area for those with different needs.
