This place has a lot to do at a reasonable price. Definitely bring the kids.
My wife and I have been hunting for a new close camp ground. We may have a winner! Midway RV is very clean, quiet and friendly. The pool is fantastic and close to areas to go shopping or sightseeing.

This is wooded campground a short distance off of I-40. Beautiful pool with bounce house and playground. Concrete pads. Quiet at night. Great for relaxation.
Wonderful staff we were there from Monday (Labor Day) thru Wednesday so very quiet. I understand it is busy on weekends and holidays but we are lucky enough to camp during the week.
Site was large and very level. Bought new Anderson levelers and haven’t even had a chance to use them.
We’ve loved staying at Yates due to the flexibility and excellent communication of the owners. There aren’t really any extras here but if you’re just looking for reliable water/electrical/sewer and wifi near Charlotte this is a fantastic option.
It's nice and clean and quiet
Clean campground with full hook ups except cable TV. It is near the Charlotte airport, so there is noise from planes taking off and landing between 6 AM and 10 PM. Easy in and out. They only accept cash.
Campground is huge & within walking distance of the raceway. Camping world is across the street if you forgot anything! Win! We parked across from the playground for the kids and it was so nice. They have a sand volleyball court there too. Dog park in the far back corner. Different vibe…
10 flat, paved spots on the top of hillside looking up at Pilot Mt. You're right next to your neighbors, but was a great spot for a stopover. Very clean and the fact that it's family owned was nice. You're staying for the view and easy access to hiking, not much else.
This park,to be honest when we first arrived, made us ask:"Is this IT??" Our first impressions were that it was a parking lot. we even looked for the rest of the campground. It's 10 spots, full hook-up, with an awesome view of Pilot Mountain. Each pad is concrete, with a picnic table, fire pit…

This is a decent campground if you are just passing through. No real attractions here. Also fairly close to the CLT airport, which is why I took a star away. Noise takes some getting used to.
Kind of sketchy. Very open gravel lots with small parking places for RVs. Random people who aren’t staying at the campground asking you personal questions. Toilets were a little dirty and so were the showers.
The whole campground was well kept and was super clean, there was an amazing pond that you could fish in and it had a good amount of fish (I seen more then I caught). It was quiet and relaxing...
They have a large pool during the warm season as well as a playground and a small lake to go fishing on
