Directions
From the W take I-40 E toward Raleigh. Take EXIT 309 toward Smithfield/Goldsboro. Go 17.65 mi, to US-70 Byp E toward Goldsboro. Go 2.9 mi & take US-70 Byp E becomes US-70 E. 18.53 miles & merge onto US-70 Byp E toward Kinston/Wilson. Go 6.17 mi & US-70 Byp E becomes US-70 E. Go 19.02 mi & straight to go onto W New Bern Rd/US-258 S/US-70 Byp E. Follow W New Bern Rd (also Hwy 70). Go 48.72 mi & turn slight L onto Miller Blvd/NC-101. Continue to follow NC-101. Go 16.3 mi & turn L onto Laurel Rd. Go 2.27 mi & turn R onto Merrimon Rd. Go 2.5 mi & turn L onto US Hwy 70 E/US-70 E. Continue to follow US-70 E. Take US-70 E to NC Hwy 12 E (Part of the Outer Banks Scenic Byway). NC 12 E will dead end into RV Park on R & Cedar Island Ferry to Outer banks. (Follow signs Cedar Island Ferry).

Great access to white sand beaches for $30/night

Ferry convenient, awesome horseback rides, no signs!
Convenient campground located next to the ferry to get to Ocracoke. Great place for a quick stop before you head over to the island. The science are pretty tight. Amenities are slim. Peaceful and Quiet
