Great access to white sand beaches for $30/night

I'm tent camping. The lady in the welcome center was in a rush to get out of the building and go work in a next-door diner so she didn't have time to answer any questions about this campground. I paid $30. There's a beautiful place to walk my dog along the water. White sand beach. The site itself…

Ferry convenient, awesome horseback rides, no signs!

Convenient campground located next to the ferry to get to Ocracoke. Great place for a quick stop before you head over to the island. The science are pretty tight. Amenities are slim. There are no signs for the office or to get in the campground. We took a horseback ride and had a great time. Horses…

Peaceful and Quiet

If your looking for things to do, this isn't your place. If your looking for peace and quiet, somewhere to relax this is definitely a great place. There is 1 restaurant near the campground amd that is it. Theres a gas station a mile away that sells some grocery items. This place isnt for 16 &…

From the W take I-40 E toward Raleigh. Take EXIT 309 toward Smithfield/Goldsboro. Go 17.65 mi, to US-70 Byp E toward Goldsboro. Go 2.9 mi & take US-70 Byp E becomes US-70 E. 18.53 miles & merge onto US-70 Byp E toward Kinston/Wilson. Go 6.17 mi & US-70 Byp E becomes US-70 E. Go 19.02 mi & straight to go onto W New Bern Rd/US-258 S/US-70 Byp E. Follow W New Bern Rd (also Hwy 70). Go 48.72 mi & turn slight L onto Miller Blvd/NC-101. Continue to follow NC-101. Go 16.3 mi & turn L onto Laurel Rd. Go 2.27 mi & turn R onto Merrimon Rd. Go 2.5 mi & turn L onto US Hwy 70 E/US-70 E. Continue to follow US-70 E. Take US-70 E to NC Hwy 12 E (Part of the Outer Banks Scenic Byway). NC 12 E will dead end into RV Park on R & Cedar Island Ferry to Outer banks. (Follow signs Cedar Island Ferry).

Most sites have water views, and 17 are directly on the water. Twelve pull-through sites are directly facing Cedar Island beach with fantastic views. We are located at the Cedar Island Ferry terminal to Ocracoke Island. We offer free Wifi in several areas, clean bathroom facilities, and a staff eager to help you have a great vacation.
